I never understood the people that literally blow up and light on fire hundreds of dollars in a few minutes.

I guess they have more money than I do:loco:

We are working too. Well, I am, everyone else in my group is taking PTO. I was going to also, but I'm not doing anything and still trying to catch up from being on the road last week, so I volunteered to be a butt in the seat when the boss's boss comes strolling through the office. I'm sure others will be there too - just not from my group.

Add me to the list working Friday. But I'm taking Mon, Tues off. The weather is supposed to be cooler and I have lots of projects to do. It should be a quiet day tomorrow.

I'm enjoying the quiet morning now.:coffee:

    Happy Independence Day everyone.

Those have a billion fasteners so are a PITA. However, they can also last a really long time. The one I have (8x10 bought from a BBS) has to be about 20 Y/O and it got moved here from my last place on a snowmobile trailer. It is in rough shape now, but still standing and takes the snow load. It is missing roughtly 3/4 of the fastners, so I really need to replace it soon, but for a chep $$ shed, I am very impressed by the longevity.

Shut our air conditioner off yesterday afternoon. Slept again with windows open and enjoyed the quiet and hearing the night sounds....except for the fireworks all over the place. But at least the fireworks were a long way off. We could even hear the fireworks from town which is 10 miles away as it was a still night.

Good news though. I have the rest of the week off. Don't have to report to work even all this month. Well, even the rest of the year except for the board meetings I have to attend.

We ended up buying a Speed Queen dryer with the old style mechanical knobs. You can still get both washer and dryer with them. We will get a matching washer in a few more months.

Oh, no doubt. I consider it an achievement to get it built without losing 3/4 of the fasteners before it's together haha
