    Baby deer have no scent so predators can't smell them while mama isn't around - or so I've heard (I don't go looking to sniff them :D) .

    Unfortunately humans tend to think in the way that they have to carry their young around everywhere until they are like 30 y/o - so assume any baby animal alone has been abandoned.

    Up early this morning. Going to try going for a walk. We haven't walked for a month as we have been recovering from the flu. Just didn't have the energy for it. We will see how this morning goes.

    So I'm the furthest thing from a health nut, I practically drink motor oil. I stay physically active but I've been trying to eat better and get better sleep.

    I cut soda out and basically only drink coffee in the morning on my commute to work and water all day. One thing I have when I first wake up is a half bottle of water with a ounce or so of unfiltered apple cider vinegar. That along with lots of water, better eating habits and decent sleep have helped lower my sugar. I feel better when I'm doing physical activities now whereas I was achy and sore constantly and I'm also more motivated.

    I can't speak of having the flu though... haven't had it in over 20 years, 36 now. Last time I had it I didn't take anything and just drank lots of water. I never get the shot either, yet, every year is THE WORST YEAR according to the experts. I think I'm just too busy and the bug doesn't feel like catching up to me.

    Co-workers were getting a little too chummy in the next office over. So I cut up some kiwi and a frozen banana and made a smoothie to scare them away before they tried to bring their party by me.

    Going to look at a class B motor home today. It's been several years now since we sold our class a motorhome but we do miss it. Not looking to take any long trips now so a small one might be just the ticket.

    Ash are slow. I waited 4 years for my ash to leaf out. Finally said to heck with it and cut them down.
