I also enjoy this channel and have learned a lot from them.

No Sir I have not hear of that pepper or sauce, but I am sure it is good.

A good amount of mulch should be very helpful for gardening down there.

Your sister would love the taxes differential. Is she in NorCal or SoCal?

I went down to the association beach this morning to help with the leaves. We are in the southwest corner of the pond, so the wind just pounds the cove with all the leaves and pine needles. Heavy foul smelling slop. Way more work than I expected. After that I opted for a nap over going after firewood.

Just south of San Fran in Monterey. She had stage 4 breast cancer and says the ocean healed her soul. She is clear now but broke as a joke. She can’t afford to live there and I’m not sending any more money. She can live in Florida, I can make it so she doesn’t have to work. She is 1 hour from the ocean, “here...take my car...”

I can imagine that living in Monterey isn't cheap. Florida isn't as scenic but probably warmer in the winter. Maybe she'll enjoy the wildlife, manatees and such.

Well...my closest score yet...this sacrificed itself right onto to my processing area!
Mulberry tree...couple more weeks we would have had ripe berries. This tree is interesting, red berries on this half, white ones on the still standing half...maybe it was actually two separate trees growed together? Did the wind take it down?

Caught up at the homestead this weekend after a short day at work Saturday.
Front yard finally mowed, storm door glass swapped for screens, garden tilled and pea fence up, a little saw work and trying to stick with my goal to be stacked by Memorial Day. 60% there. About a cord point 5 to go.

That'll work. Monterey is beautiful. But pricey.

I finally got around to my three trailer load of walnut... that I got like in February... a lot of good wood, but also all the sticks and brush... even more than anticipated......Since I had to work that day he was working on it, I couldn't control what I got... Oh well it was free and I'll get everything sorted out...however it'll just take more time than I figured on... But I do love the smell of freshly cut Walnut....

I got the lawn mowed today with my neighbors simplicity. He'll mow during the week, and I always leave his fuel tank full, and I wash the tractor before I return it. That's the least I can do.

I got the rest of the juniper bush trash off of my lawn and ready to burn. Making up a 10 gallon batch of saltwater for a water change on my reef tank tonight.

Did any Canadian geese contribute to the foulness?

I noticed my gutters were overflowing during the downpour this morning. I got the rainsuit on and the ladder, and cleaned them out. Those were foul too. They hadn't been cleaned in years. I have to do the second story ones next. This probably explains the wetness in the basement along the wall.

Thankfully, I haven't seen a Canadian goose around here.

The leaves were 2' deep, and completely water logged, so it was quite the workout.

Nice looking day this morning. Going over to Mom's today to say Happy Birthday. Her birthday is really tomorrow but I work. My brother's oldest daughter is visiting her for a couple days so I hope they get some yard work done. campinspecter is still has no energy after the flu and I couldn't believe how much energy it took out of me to plant a couple of hanging baskets yesterday. I had big plans to do some weeding as well but that didn't happen. The more people I talk to, the more I find that they were hit with the same thing. It just wasn't in the schools.

Almost the same here. 42 overnight, and 80 and humid expected Thursday.

I do have to say that the cool temperature on Saturday was really nice for cutting and hauling the firewood from the neighbors pile of ash.
