Gearing up for snow storm, sky is heavy, low and dark. Forecasts from 2-4" to 5-8" + we'll see how much melts or accumulates. Did a crock pot of sauce & italian sausage and a pot of polenta last night  .

Just let it go Beetle-Kill and Horkn .

Be surprised what you can fit in a dinky when need be.

I'm not a normal person, especially young person. Never had any time for sports cars, even just to look at someone else's. If I had to have a car for the sake of actually liking the car, I'd have a big old school RWD sedan or station wagon with a bench seat. But that would burn as much gas as a truck. Dinkies are easy on the wallet and that's what I like about them.

I'm definitely going to explore that possibility in the near future. The trim all around the house that sits just below the edge of the roof is rotted, and needs to be replaced in the next year. Maybe I'll get em done together.

Got some rain today but nothing like predicted which is not surprising. Good. We don't need much right now, especially just prior to the GTG which is only a few days away now.

Tree work today with a tracked lift. A bunch of dead ash in really poor shape. Smooth day for the most part! 21BAE50B-EB50-4EB5-A179-7A63399A0F77.jpeg D5FFED2D-3B20-4B82-B418-EC07D09BDA58.jpeg 65D78405-2CE5-4145-9976-407FFCDA2FFF.jpeg 7673C111-A3EC-40D2-A5AA-50F560130FE9.jpeg

We just flew past Hawaii. Been on this aeroplane for 11 hours now, looking forward to getting back down to earth.

It was a combination of the homeowner waiting too long and I had to delay this job for quite some time as well. The owner of the lift I rent had open heart back in January and I also had him booked last fall for this job, but his main boom developed a crack and was down for over a month. I got pushed back on his schedule as an end result. All in all, it worked out.

:drool:I was studying the picture before I read your comment thinking that happy little plant had soooo many buds!. German Iris. I also hear bearded field iris. Dutch are little.
Mine are sprouting, a couple are 6" tall so far.

Where are you headed leoht ? Safe travels.

Edit to add, we did get a foot of snow. Supposed to be 40* today, it will be interesting. Also WWW did some extra sealing on the pellet stove pipe (it leaks one season per year, wet spring snows), and the fingers crossed on the laundry room. Last chance is an incorrectly installed side panel over our bedroom, think the water is getting in there and running across the previous roof still there underneath and coming out in laundry. Fingers crossed on both. After the ground dries up I'm excited to go peek at the trees/bushes we put in last year, see what made it over the winter, no doubt the ones that survived are loving all this moisture!!!
