So, that interesting weather I mentioned yesterday got even more interestinger.
When the dogs and I went out this morning, we found rain falling from the sky. :singingintherain: The snow is now mush, and very interesting to slog through.
Tip.......don't wear running shoes in snow/rain mush that's up to your ankles unless you like wet feet. The :coffee: had not yet been ingested, and I forgot to put on the boots. Not the :coffee: fault though.
Bonus......house is still 73 from last night's fire, so there's that.

Luckily, most of the squishy stayed outside the shoes. We didn't go far.

All good now. Just missed us. Several homes south lost their roofs. No injuries reported. News crew still scrambling to get pics. 10,000 without power.

Running around this morning taking care of odds and ends. Picked up two doors for the rooms in the barn. We want to keep chickens and cats and bunny out of them. Had our Amish friends build them for us. They did a nice job. I’ll post a few pictures when I get a chance. Got a haircut and then pulled the Polar HD Max trailer full of manure and hay out and dumped it for the wife. A few other chores and now done with that. I’m going out on the wheeler now to cut some more stumps down that are in the trails. Then it’ll be a break for lunch. This afternoon my neighbor and I are going to move some hay on his trailer from a friend’s barn over to ours that my wife purchased from her. She is getting down to about two weeks of hay left and want to keep the horses happy for a few more weeks after that to give the pastures a little more time to dry out and get some healthy grass growing.

Sorry about your wife. Remember, we are all here for each other. Venting is helpful, so feel free.

A damp day here. Won't be doing much today though. Yesterday was not a kind day on my body...

Mat this is not good news. Prayers are going out for you and your wife.

Things like this can be extremely difficult for both partners. My wife and I both went through problems, a bit different from what you are experiencing but with the same type of effects. You have to be strong to help your partner but that sometimes gets to be very difficult. The best thing you can do for your wife is to love her. I'm sure you will do fine in that category.

btw, for things like this we have a sticky at the top of the page in "Everything Else." It is called "Thoughts and Prayers for those in need." I would invite you to post this in that thread and you will get much help from this.
