    Was talking about it at work yesterday, one co-worker says " I hope it starts snowing an hour after you take it off."
    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Told him "No issues, my 4WD truck will make it out of the driveway."

    Looks like it may be done snowing for now. Ran the blower and shovel. 8" is my guesstimate.

    This stuff would be great for making snowmen!

    Today was spent trying to move water out of the basement and away from the barn.

    The submersible pump did, and is still doing, a good job off and on in the basement.

    The M59 did a good job breaking up some ice and doing some shallow trenching. A few small creeks are moving the water away quickly now. It was good to get outside in the warm temperatures. :)

    My woodcutting buddy goes out west every year to search for gold. Every year he gets more equipment. One of these years I'll go with him.

    Well, on Monday the roofers come to tear of the 2 layers of shingles on my 54 yr old house and re roof it. That was quick. They saw a window of when the ice and snow melted from the roof, and good weather and they are jumping on it.

    Now, we use direct TV and the dish is on the roof. So there's that I have to deal with. Also the stack on the patio has to get moved. The wood stack on the patio is nearly depleted, only a few days worth of wood is left in it. I'll bring it all into the house by the stove room, or in the garage.

    The dish on the roof is another story though. It's coming off, but that means it won't be aimed or able to bring in signal on Monday. It's not going on my new roof, as we are cutting DTV. Love the service, don't like the price. I need to call spectrum up and get them out here asap. We had cable before we had dtv, so that shouldn't be an issue as far as hook up. I think they just need to go to the power pole and re connect, then verify we have signal inside. So I'll be calling/scheduling spectrum shortly. I think I can do this via the Internet too.

    I have a feeling that the cable won't be able to get out here for a number of days, then we go on vacation. There is the option that I re aim the dish for the upcoming week we are here this week, just on a wood "sled" I put on the patio. Then cancel dtv on Friday night. That's probably what going to happen unless spectrum can get out here early in the week.

    Our internet is super slow, and can't sustain streaming through any of the services. So we need spectrum to come out to get us internet at least. For now, their bundles are cheap enough that it makes sense to use them for cable as well as the internet. AT&T does have 2 way faster options than dsl for internet, but neither are available at my address. Not yet at least. Their new fiber is available in many areas and it's very well priced. So maybe by the time spectrum jacks their prices, the att option will be available. Since att owns dtv, and there's talk that dtv is wanting to be done with the satellite game, that the att fiber will happen soon.

    Morning all. Been feeling like crap for a while because I waited to long to quit smoking. I never smoked in the house and I think Ill stay in this weekend. Im hoping by Monday things will be a bit better because I need to get in the shop and get my job done. Man I sure haven't been very smart not to do something sooner. Ok that's enough. On a better note I got myself a Hubsan H501ss Drone Thursday. Never had one before. I have tried it in my field around my house. Its going to take a while before I get good at flying it. I think it will help me to keep my mind off other things. Ill get a picture of it when I get back in the shop if anyone is interested. Thanks.

    How slow is y'all's internet. Our DSL at peak is 14mbs. But usually is in the 10-12 range. We can stream 2devices on that. Sometimes there is a pause. And it's a few seconds to load but we can watch the TV streaming. We don't usually. We have dish .But as far as devices all 3 of us can watch say YouTube without trouble.
