    True that!

After a little investigating on my own, instead of upgrading the cottage and all associated with it, It is better off for me to buy an existing.

The cottage already has a septic but with new builds, a new system would be required along with a well and new updated elec service. Add to that the cost of delivery of said home-whoops, almost forgot the cost of the basement- and it just doesn't pay. I'm not so sure the crane would be able to set the house due to driveway size restrictions, also.

wildwest another trick I found for finding homes in college towns. Is go 5 miles outside of town, find an old trailer on a 5-acre lot. Buy it and remove it. Water sewer Electric in everything is already there put the house you want on it..

You gonna try to patch it? That may take a bit. Looks like it's toast about 4" either side at least. Yuck.

Just patched another Crack a few weeks back.... yeah, not impressed

The Crack is right by where 2 sections join in, the other section is solid but with the spring hanger, rivets, and 3 overlapping sheets of steel.....it'd be a harder job. Might have to see what can be done just to get to work for the time being. Might be looking at a car tomorrow.
