I promised pictures of our snowfall. It is pretty well gone by now but we may get some more tonight.

Our wood burning days may be over for a bit. Our house is listed on the market, and we have a few showings this weekend.

It has been a 10 month wait for work to get done at the next place. Lots of projects coming down the pike. Its'a fixer upper.

My wife, sons and I are helping our daughter and son-in-law move into their first house today. They are expecting their first child (our first grandchild) in April so I will be so happy to help them get settled. Their new home is only about 8 miles from us.

Exciting times ahead for everyone. I hope all goes well with the move and that is great news about your first grandchild.

Ah yes, house selling season! I hope you get an offer right away, it's a strain to keep the house tidy for multiple showings, and have to decamp for the people to trot through.
So your new house is in livable condition?

It is fine to be in. Just a lot of cosmetic items that were not addressed. The constant tidying up is time consuming. I spend more time looking for stuff I put away.

The housing market is very good right now. Housing stock is a little scarce around here.

Round two snow storm coming in tonight. Ended up with about 5" of snow yesterday. But enjoying my coffee this morning before going to clean up the driveway and some of the neighbors...

Have a little bit left of the garage roof to shovel today and of course the related snow removal from the driveway after that.

Then, sometime, I'll have to do the cottage drive once again. I guess there's no hurry for that. Usually have a cookout/meal down there in
Feb so the time is ripe for that.

My carpal tunnel flared up bad yesterday while doing the shed roof. Takes so damm long for it to get back to normal.

Snow again this morning but not quite as much. Temps just above freezing so it should disappear fairly soon. Maybe some sunshine this afternoon. Headed out for our morning walk soon.

Mine flares when bad weather is approaching. Try wearing a wrist brace that will keep your hand in the neutral position. I’ve dealt with many decades of Carpal Tunnel including surgery. I sleep with the brace every night.

Hope you’re feeling better today, Yoop.
