I just got a clone recipe... I'm going to have to try it. It sounds really inviting ..... But on the other note, I just opened my first bottle of Samuel Adams Fat Jack clone yesterday. MMMMM....really good I thought for about three weeks bottled. Should really come around further in another couple of weeks....

Second day of tax free savings in Massachusetts. Bought 3 replacement windows at HD to help keep the addition warmer this winter. Who would have thought being excited about changing out some windows would be the highlight of my day.

Hey folks. How are you doing? Hope all is well with each and everyone of you. Man, lots of you guys/gals have been busy. When I get time I have a lot of reading/catching up to do on this forum! Been busy spending time with wife and kids here while they are on summer vacation. Working some overtime here and there, and a few small projects going on. And keeping up with the grass at two places! o_O Been a good bit of rain lately.

Tomorrow it is back to work so I had a busy day getting the last minute things done. It has been an awesome perfect weather summer this year and it doesn't look like it is ending anytime soon.

Helped my daughter and son in law move into their first house. Trimmed some of their bushes and branches back. Bought them a push lawnmower, figured it was cheaper than trailering the rider over there all the time (25miles).:)

Sliced up about 3/4 of a cord of sugar maple limbs from the 4 that I had dropped in the spring. The bride and I then hopped on the Wing and took a 200 Km. ride, stopping for a great Schnitzel dinner at one of our favorite eaterys a few towns over. Then home to catch the end of the Michigan race. Great day for sure. Firewood Ramblings 001 (Medium).jpg

Been lovin' the breeze and temps this morning. Just awesome! Took the JD down on the trail and pulled 4 old shrubs, from my daughter's place, and a couple claw bites of all of the brush I've put down there... and laid it down in the sun to dry out a bit. If the wind dies down later, I'm gonna have a burn in the pit. Took the ole beater MTD mower we bought to keep at the cabin, down to our local mech and he's gonna put tubes in all of the tires. 2 rear were flat and in bad shape. Gotta work on the brakes but, other than the muffler... the ole thing cuts and bags perty good.

Gonna head down into the woods agin this afternoon... can't stay outa there when days are like this. It was about 60 plus this morning... :dancer:

The humidity is unbelievable here today. When you walk outside from the A/C your skin gets condensation on it. Crazy.

Making salsa tonight...then packing up for another trip to the left coast tomorrow.

You guys are making me jealous. I came down with strept throat. :( yuck! Time for some down time. Doctor gave me some antibiotics today though and I slept a while today. But I couldn't sit around long so I did some light duty work for a little while. Then rest, then more light duty work ....
