Thanks guys. It's a 20ft. And yes the weather was just about perfect with temps in the low 80's, water temp in the low 70's and a SW wind and 10mph. No fish today but it was great just to get out. Talking to other folks out there, we weren't the only one's not catching fish. It's been slow the last few days. I took a couple other pics i'll post up in a minute.

Yep, got the new carb and its running like a champ. I had the smoke going even and so did my buddy Raja (on left) with the yellow Sukhoi. We tried to have Pete (middle) gets some in air shots and video but they didnt come out so great... We managed a nice setup with the yellow Sukhoi flying low/ smoke on beyond the runway while I took off/ smoke on the opposite way but missed the shot!





I was also practicing unpowered autorotation landings on the gas helicopter, Raja's a pro and coaching me how to aim for a spot landing right in front of our parking spot... I have a way to go, should have bailed this last one but managed to just barely hit the runway - another foot I would have dumped it in the grass!



We had some visitors stop to watch too...

What an absolute fine looking boat. Awesome. Spent my formative "teenage" years @ the jersey shore. Lots of good times @ the Osprey in Seaside Heights.

 

Yellow jackets all sugared and liquored up on fermenting grapes from my vines is not good. Not good at all.

 

GF thought something was wrong with me as I was up at 4am and had 6qt's of stewed tomatoes ready to drop in the bath.
One of those mornings just popped to at 3:30

 

It's the tax free 'holiday' in Mass this weekend. Went to the dump (Home Depot) to pickup a portable fire pit this morn.
This was the last one of this style, used a gc from Xmas and a coupon, got it for $49.
Also picked up some pumpkin head this morn after returning bottles and cans. I can't believe that stuff (and octoberfest beers) are out so early.
So, you'll know where I'll be and what I'll be doing later this evening . Drinking and blazing!

Yes, we took advantage of that as well. My wife dragged me down to Brookfield to this shop in an old barn that makes handmade antique reproduction furniture. Should have been a 2 hour trip but took 4... gridlock on the Pike!

But out of it we got what will be my nice cozy reading nook by the stove this winter
