Right where I want to be.
    Roast was very gooder.
    Bonus,.........I'm still alive.:whistle::yes:
In other news (which is the same from earlier this fine day), it's still raining/sleeting. Wife needs a script from the clinic, so I think I'll pick that up before she wakes up. I doubt she wants to drive in this crud.
    Heck, I don't either.

Yes that's the main thing with this saw, due to it's quieter demeanor and relatively ample cutting abilities it will make possible scores of wood you'd otherwise need to pass up. It's not a saw for professional lumberjacks, but it's definitely a scroungers saw. Having it in the car ready for whatever the day presents to you is a convenient advantage in building your "Cordwood Empire".

Roger, download a snipping tool. Just Google it. It is a free download and you can then just copy off the screen and save as a picture.

Another thing you can do is just hit "PrtSc" Usually that key is somewhere in the upper right of the keyboard; look above the Backspace key. After you hit "PrtSc" you can load Paint and Paste that into Paint then save as a picture.

Still listening to the wind howl through the trees but it is not as bad as last night. Still gusting to near 40 mph. Well, it did blow the ice off the trees...along with some limbs.

Made it home safely. It didn't snow on us. This morning we might get a bit of rain before the cold weather hits again. It is supposed to be sunny all weekend.

Sleet/rain yesterday, and awoke to about 2" of fresh snow. Winds gusting pretty good. Nice 1/4" of ice on the windows. Had some fun cleaning those. I don't care what anyone says, I'm running the car to help defrost/de-ice.
Made it to the clinic and back w/o incident (other than the car ice-capades), and now we're getting a light snowfall.
Furnace kept us warm for the first 3 hours this morning, and now the 30 is doin' it's duty.:dex:
10 OAT, and 70 IAT right now. Need another couple runs to the shed for the day, then another later for the overnight fire. Wind is bone chilling (apologies to those in MUCH colder climes, but it's still cold out there).
Here I sit with another cup of coffee contemplating going out to the shop (t-stat set at 50) for a bit. Wife went out to her "studio/womancave" yesterday for a bit to work on a friend's quilt and said it was pretty comfy......it's just that walk to get out there. Brrr.:hair::rofl:  I know. Pitiful.

Thanks. I will have to learn that Snip tool. Got it.
I got it done by copying and pasting into Word.

This is the first time in WEEKS I've had more than a few hours to myself. Not sure what happened but I sound like I have tourettes . Cathartic and amusing too.

You can also “Save As” to a .jpeg in any folder on the computer... or, you can print it right from the “Snip” screen with either “Control P” or “File/Print”

I have not, figuring it will turn up someday, hopefully sooner than later. but will turn up eventually :) Negatory on the freezer and microwave unfortunately.

The loud expressions that came out of my mouth while I had some time alone. Too many cooks in the kitchen for too long kwim.

Went to the cottage and snow blowed once more. Ended up with an easy 10-12" from the last blast. Anyway, traded in the old john deere 826 and picked up an ariens. This one has a three year warranty since it is brand new. It is the smallest model....got that one since 99 lbs wants to be sure she can operate it in the event of my next "back attack"!

I hate to say it, but in a way I'm kinda anxious to have a snowstorm to see just how good the ariens will handle it!

Is that the compact 24? That's what I bought new like 4 yrs ago. I went with the Briggs polar Tek engine vs the LCT. It's been awesome.

Yes it is. I was leaning towards the 28" deluxe and almost had her talked into it but again, she said she has to be able to use it and move it around. So, the compact it is. I hope it lives up to our worst case scenario we get from time to time.
