Little girl and I just brought 5 wheelbarrow loads of oak out of the woods. 20" trunk that i noodled in half. Sciatic nerve still isn't happy with me.

So, do you actually think you might get your share of the king sized bed? Or even your share of the blankets? Good luck on that.

Yes, I'm certain that took many hours of thought and perhaps a committee report or three to come up with the idea.

Still considering getting a sandwich then going out and cutting a bit of firewood. The sun keeps trying to shine. HOpe it sticks around.

I have a king size, I get just enough space to lay on my side without falling off.

Yes, that's what happened last year. Screwed up spring weather.

I'd like a bit more snow, as my setup for hauling wood is ideal for snow. Plus the snow keeps the dirt out of the bark/ logs. We've got a covering of snow, and I'm hoping for a little more. I'm planning to go out to the woods lot on new New year's day, or maybe tomorrow.

Well, that's the plan at least. The 2 labs are bed hogs. At least the way I look at it is that the king is 16" wider than the queen bed, so it's more than 20% more bed. I like those odds.

Was getting a little rusty so I took two of the pups out and split and stacked a few rounds in the beautiful weather we had today.

I'm hoping the snow and weather doesn't stop me from getting to the wood lot either tomorrow or Monday. I just brought up 2 cartfuls of wood, and brought 1 inside. Siberian elm, with some Norway maple and a piece or 2 of honey locust.

Its been a nice day... Almost too nice... Cut some/Split some/ and my buddy's kids stack them...Had to stop tractor time, when the temps raised enough to create mud.... But got a lot of wood work done today... Plus all the cut offs, I sent with my buddy for his barn warmer... Almost a full 8 foot bed... ... Hopefully New Years day I'll get to have some more trigger time... :dex:

    Or Tuesday. Lol

Tomorrow or Monday ;) are not looking good, at any rate. Ice, freezing rain, snow. Uggg . Tuesday is looking like 25° in the am, and falling throughout the day, but zero precipitation. I can deal with that for temperatures

Cut up the splits that were too long to fit in the stove - just ten so didn't take very long. While the saw was out and warm, noodled some pine rounds that had some rather large knots. These are pine rounds from last year's storms that took a lot of trees down. Some of the bigger ones are still at 34% MC. Had a few minutes before the sun went down so split some by hand.

Gotta get at these, the pine sawyers are getting comfy:
