Caffeine! A cold can of Pepsi going in and I’ve loaded the Wood Gun up with Pine. Cold here and I need to get ready to go to the workhouse.

Warmed up to 5 here this a.m. Just stirred up the 30 and woke er' up with some maple. going in soon to be followed by pancakes and thick sliced Bacon.
Been burning 24/7 since mid October and have gone thru about 1 and 3/4 cord so far. On track with last year at this time. We have not had very much snow but have had a lot of cold weather. Oh well, at least the days are starting to get longer.............. Everyone have a great and safe day.

That reminds me, I put my crockpot of soup out in the garage last night as it was too hot to put in the fridge (bad planning on my part). Should be nice and cold by now.

 

Its all by the woodstove now.

Well, that's a stretch - saying it could get very cold and snowy in January and February in the Northeast

 

Yes, cold, relatively here compared to what it has been. 18° right now.
I just got my wake up diet dew. Yeah, I hear you on the tavern/ bar thing. In my 20's and 30's I could do that more, but ugggg. It is fun hanging with friends though.

 

Yeah, I saw that too, several sources too. It could be a chillier rest of winter.

 

I’m hoping for not much snow for a while longer. Like another month would be nice. LOL it’s great for getting work done trimming and removing trees for new trails and getting firewood at the same time! So.....actually, little snow the whole winter would be acceptable also.

 

I'd rather it be cold and snowy when its supposed to be cold and snowy...if not, the weather the remainder of the year seems to be screwed up too. Kind of a you can pay me now or you can pay me later thing...
