    Got my planer fixed tonight....new brushes and flipped the blades over. Should be ready to tackle the to-do list now.

    Off to Dallas tomorrow....do a site visit, make a parts list, and hunt up some BBQ.

    Checked the boiler and it's still full from when I loaded it this morning. Might be able to fill it full tomorrow and get enough burn time to last until Wednesday night when I get back.

    My neighbor mowed yesterday. You know right before we were to get snowed on. Yes, in addition to that, they scalped the grass as low as the deck would go. When will they learn that scalping the lawn is bad for it right before winter?

    Well, yes. It was getting a little long for the dogs to mince their way over it to do their business. With our climate, he will probably have to do it again before Christmas and start again in February. Almost year round mowing here.

    I remember when i was younger and we stayes at a beach house during the winter on Folly, after the beach re nourishment there was a big storm and aftwr that for awhile there was a ledge like that and i did very similar things and played on that ledge.

    Yep, same thing on the south shore of LI as a kid.
    Except I would hear people say, “you’re causing more erosion!”
    This is why I made mention of that ridiculousness in the first place.
