I'm pretty sure that today is going to be a "mail it in" kinda day. Most of my customers that I spoke with, or attempted to see on their office day yestersay were either chomping at the bit to get out, or had already screwed out long before noon.

I have a little bit of home office work, then spend some time with the little girl. Major goal for the day is 2 apple pies and a key lime cheesecake.

Some food shopping, house cleaning, food prep, and snow removal for me. I stayed in and cleaned yesterday, didn't touch the snow, but today it's supposed to get to 37°, so I'll push it around.

I've got to head to the cottage and clear the driveway. Also have to meet with a member of the tax board of review. Hopefully, all will go well.

Got another 3-4 inches overnight here. So............I'll have to clear the driveway before I leave here! Last minute running around for the meal tomorrow

Someone at work made me a hot ginger and lemon drink and it was great. I peeled the ginger and grated it. I grated the lemon for zest and then peeled it and cut it in slices crossways. I dehydrated it all so I could keep it in the kitchen. It was an experiment and I think it worked well. I probably would peel and slice the ginger thin instead of grating it next time. I ended up with some ginger dust once it was dry. I tried making the hot drink last night and it was alright but not as strong as my friend made. I think this is where the sliced ginger would work better.

Going out is just a bit to take down all the trail cameras for this year. They will be put away until next summer when I'll put out one or two to watch the new fawn crop.

Then I'm off to the big city to get a shot in one shoulder.

Put some honey and bourbon in it too. Heat it up, and say goodnight. It will help any sore throat.

For sure I hope it helps. It's wood cutting time! May have to get the other shoulder done too. It was back in August when I fell and screwed up both shoulders but could not get the shot until now because of some shots in my neck last July. Can't get them too often lest your body quit making its own cortisone.
