I tried noise canceling earphones, but they don't really do the job. My wife is a nice lady, but fixed in some of her ways. I have to give in some so she will tolerate some of my ways.

fully agree, you can loose eyesight so easily. Quick attention may indeed save the eye.

I am seriously emmensly enjoying being able fire up the radiant heat in this house again. Such a soft, even heat. 10/10.

I might add a few loops underneath the floor next year when I redo some plumbing, but right now the baseboard panels are kicking butt.

I'm sorry Dennis, I too have troubles with cold hands and feet no matter what insulation or material, I require external heat to rewarm then and open constricted blood vessels back up so warm blood can flow through again, the disposable hand/pocket warmers like AL mentioned help me out the best. I buy them around this time of the year, Black Friday and after Christmas sales in bulk for cheap. I get the hand/pocket size, stuff them inside my shoes.

I'll guess it's probably the 2.7 Ecoboost. It looks like it's an xlt. There's a possibility of it being a 3.3 v6, but not a lot get that engine. It's in some fleet trucks.

Radiant in floor heating is the bomb!

I've had it at 2 places I worked, one was my dad's plumbing and boiler shop.

Exactly. Most people are not taught the correct way to adjust mirrors so there aren't any blind spots. My mother passed on that knowledge sometime in the 80's after she heard about it on a car repair radio show. I still turn my head before changing lanes anyway.

Nope. True vacation this time. Oldest daughter getting married on the beach. I sprung for a very large, beautiful house right on the beach and just a walk to the wedding. (Been paying :emptywallet:on it for close to a year! o_OLOFL) With heated pool between house and beach. Some of my family and wife’s staying with us for wedding weekend and then going back home. We stay through thanksgiving. Going to be a great time!

( We don’t normally spend that kind of money on a vacation. Would rather go for a long weekend, much cheaper, and put saved money into property. But this is a VERY SPECIAL occasion!:) )
