Much cooler temps coming in for the weekend, looking forward to firing up!

First computer was a commodore 64.........Whopping 64KB of Ram and 3.5" floppy drive! NVMe drives are great no limitations, SSD are super fast but too fast and limited to SATA connection speeds on the MB.

 

I guess we will see some smoke clouds below the border now............................ and smack talking the Canadians ain't gonna be....................don't say I told you so, but I told you so...................................

mat60 that is indeed good news. I can only imagine what you are going through. My wife has stage 3 liver disease and has to get an endoscopy tomorrow to band off varices. Spent most of the morning with 99 making home made raviolis. Needed some parsley for the meat mixture (filling) so took a quick run to the store.

Will he clean from the top down? If so I'd throw a small load in 'er tonight...as long as its basically gone by morning it should be fine. I clean mine this way...stove is not cold, just not hot. Even if there are some coals left when he comes, they could be shoveled out if he has a problem with that.
If he is gonna do a bottom up cleaning, then yeah, probably can't burn tonight.

They normally send 2 people. 1 sweeps from top down and the other takes the riser and lateral flue pipes out and cleans them. If they take the riser and lateral out, I believe I will have to be cold.
