So I have the "you suck" of the year here people...a former co-worker texts me today to ask about the operation of the wood furnace in the new house they just bought...in the course of conversation I start preaching "dry wood"...he says his neighbor likes to cut wood, but doesn't burn, has a huge mountain of hardwood splits in his barn (supposedly for 20 years) and is looking to utilize the space better now, so the guy offers to give it to him if he will just come and get it...no hurry, at your leisure, come and get a truckload at a time as you need it! He said it burns fantastic...I bet!! o_O  :hair:

Hoarders, we need to invent and patent a tiny chainsaw/sawzall for carving pumpkins. We could all earn $$$ and let so many help carving pumpkins again.

There's various Dremel bits that would work too...

We’ll I started on this last weekend, but my wire ran out on the start of welding of the braces... so I stopped at HF this morning. Now my forks for my JD Tractor is ready for some more abuse...

Mine is only a X720 JD the large garden tractor... But I use and abuse it and give it some TLC...I'll take a picture of the finish product in the daylight hours tomorrow... Hoping to get some claws mounted on it this winter. Should be a nice tool for wood...

I smell like gas. Bad gas, on the verge of turning to lacquer. I have the taste still in my mouth after 4 hours.
    It was awesome....
First weekend I haven't brought work home since July. This weekend is mine, to do what I want. So after a few things, I worked on my old CJ. I have a guy that wants it for a hunting property in Gunnison, but he wants to drive it. So, new fuel pump, hoses, filters, and a thorough tank flush were in order.
It's been sitting for 9 years so, yeah, it was due.
The tank flush was fun. It gravity fed for a while and drained a bunch of bad stuff, then I added fresh gas to keep up the flow. It stopped. So, of course I give the drain line a "suck" to get it going again. You know what I'm talking about. Well, I got a mouthful of paint thinner or something. Took awhile to flush my mouth, luckily I didn't ingest any. Then I said screw it..
Wired in a electric fuel pump, ran lines to an empty gas can and hooked it up to a battery 20' away. Pumped the tank, added a couple gallons of good gas and pumped that out too. It worked better than I expected (it didn't blow up). So I'm good to go.
    Tomorrow will be the test.

Caffeine and breakfast in and some boiler room cleaning done. Time to take it easy for a bit this morning. Then back to cleaning the boiler room more and it’s also time to clean up the garage bench. AGAIN.
