My district service manager used to work for a paper company in NJ. He had one of his guys making a delivery to Cantor Fitzgerald when the plane hit.

A few years ago he was visiting the memorial for the first time. Standing at the reflecting pool looking in. He looked down and his hand was on his employees name.

At least the overpriced coffee is usually good!

Only time I ever eat hotel breakfast is at my sales meetings, because I'm held captive in the hotel. Coffee is always garbage, so I go to their expense Starbucks or whatever. This past one in San Diego actually had great coffee for our breakfast though.

No rain this morning so off on our walk. Looks like we might have sunshine today. Yesterday ended off with sunshine. Halfway through the week already.

It started raining about an hour ago. Got to pouring a few times. Going to rain on and off through tomorrow. It’s still humid as can be and is going to 80°. When will it cool off?

Drizzling here. I've been able to work outside everyday for a week, but today might be a washout.

Misty, foggy, & humid this AM. Not calling for steady rain (thank goodness) just possible scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. The good news is Florence isn't going to come north due to a high pressure system keeping her down south and headed due west this weekend so hopefully I can get out and fire up the splitter.

To our neighbors down south in her likely path, my thoughts and prayers of safety are with you!!

I'm still wondering why Gasifier doesn't have to dig as deep as I do to get a pine stump out. Some of them are like his but some really go super deep here.

I am not sure on the answer to that. But I’m thinking soil type/condition. There is excellent topsoil here. This use to be farm field/cow grazing. But underneath is clay. So I think the roots like to spread out wide. There are usually a few thatgo down deeper though. They are probably looking for the water like will711 does for his favorite beer. :wacky:

You are probably correct in that. It's the only reason I've ever come up with. The last time I pulled stumps, the last 2 were interesting. One went down about a foot and the other I cut the root off a 4.5' so I could get it out. Yes, I used an old chain for this. lol
