    Well..

New job has been going well.
4 Day week lastweek, 5 day week this week. This will be my 2nd week.
The work is super easy, i work with some alright people.

Hardest part is going back to Illinois on the weekends to see my wife and dogs.
Going there is fine, its leaving... We get emotional saying our goodbyes every sunday.
And im usually a mess during the hour and 45 minute drive home and still am until i
go to bed. I just keep in mind that another day that passes, is another day closer to
    things being perfect.

We are expecting our first child any day now..
Due date is the 22nd, at the last check up, doc says we can expect him any day now.

Things went from me attending every doctors appointment to me not being able to
attend any at all now with working in a different state.
Just waiting on the phone call, i'll fly back to Illinois as quick as i can.

That'll be when my wife joins me in Indiana. We need to have our son back in illinois
with the same doctor we have been seeing the last 8.5 months.

Things will get better, each day that passes, we are closer to those better days.
1 day at a time, 1 day at a time.

Hang in there it will get better.
There are times god puts a heavy burden on us but he never gives us more than he knows we can handle.
One day at a time is a great way to look at it.

Caffeine and breakfast with my Dad today. He’s doing okay for having the condition he does and how far it has come on him. He was up and all ready for coffee when I got here at 5:45.

We did get a decent amount of rain yesterday and last night. Not too much though. We will take what we can get, we have been low on water this year.

Hopefully, when I get back home, I can get some things done in the barn and garage today while everything dries out. Nice cool temperatures for working in.

Heading out for coffee at the bakery with my former work partners in a few minutes.

Might have the over the air TV antenna guy stop by the cottage today. Sure has taken a long time to get this scheduled.

Mornin' Hoarders..... :coffee: :flipeggs:well underway. Sounds like Gasman got the same weather we did, as well. At least no frost here last night. Got some welding to do on the trailer but need to wait until things dry up a little first. Everyone have a great and safe day.

Third day of pouring rain. On the island they are sending wildfire firefighters home so that is a good thing. I don't know about the rest of the province. I have a dog who has to go outside at 2:00 AM the last couple of mornings. In the rain. Needless to say, she doesn't get to crawl into bed afterwards. Back in her crate.

Cleaning the barn out even further. The rest of the pallets are going outside. Hope to bring in a little more dirt (if not too wet) and get the rest of this side up to grade where it’s suppose to be. Free loading bunny is keeping an eye on me.

All I can say is may all those who died 17 years ago today rest in peace and be remembered. I can't find any other words......

Yup, pretty much.....that company has a bunch of trucks that work, and probably just as many that don't work, they like to scavenge as much as possible. I remember them selling 2 trucks, and I don't even want to know what was wrong with them. A Chevy kodiak, the old ones with the square body cab, and a 96 supercab longbox half ton ford 4x4.

    Found on road dead haha

jokes aside that statistic definitely doesn't apply here....to any brand....this island is good at killing trucks.

Unfortunately there's so many still suffering the effects, both physically and mentally. Many died from those after effects, and more will die prematurely because of that. RIP.

I think everyone remembers where they were when 9/11 happened.
