    We all just returned from a good dinner with my parents at their house. Good to see them. They enjoy seeing our kids growing like weeds, playing in their back yard, and talking about what they like to do. I can tell it is an important thing to my Mom to have visitors. Gives her a break and someone she can carry on a different conversation with. My Dad’s conversations are getting more limited. But he is doing well physically. Thankfully. Great that there are a lot of us “kids” living close by.

    My wife has been canning tomatoes over the last couple weeks. She is just over 50 quarts. She thinks she has enough to do 10-15 more. She is tired of canning tomatoes!
