    That was just field corn for silage. Mine own stuff looks like someone was trying to braid it. So much for doing the farmers market routine. 40 acres across the street untouched as far as I can see ( some 600 yards up the lane between fields) Tornado listed as a EL1- bottom of the chart intensity wise.

    The trailer ain't so bad, but it'll hopefully be money we can use. Haven't been able to use it for a year, and it's on his girlfriends dad's land

    Reminds me when one day my wife went to the mailbox. On the way back (we had a long driveway in the woods) she found a bear had come out of the woods, walked down her track a short ways then into the woods it went. She never did see it though and she was not scared either. We were Yoopers then.

    Glad no one was injured. We had a stack go down and trees about a month ago. As soon as it gets cool enough outside we’ve got to tackle it. Shame the corn got ruined. All that hard work now gone.

    Made the last connection in my boiler install!!! I'm 99.5% done...just need to dump a couple buckets of pea gravel around where the underground lines come up to the boiler...I plan on adding another line next year to heat the shop and the pea gravel will make digging it out a ton easier. I didn't realize how much mental energy I was putting into this project....feels like a huge weight lifted. Maybe I'll sleep better tonight. I know my wallet will be relieved.
