    Monin all. The air is getting cooler round heeya. I'm headed to the boot shop today to get my favorite work boots stretched so I can wear em again. Hoping to finally get down in the woods this fall. Been waaaaay too long... :whistle:... ;)

    On the fires out west... I hear from my brother in Pagosa Springs Colo that the smoke is bad where they are too. Damm.

    Was expecting a decent rain. We got .15". Other places got much more and some areas are still getting it. We just watch it go by and wish we had more.

    Got some stone mix on top of the sand. Hope to use the transit and make sure it is somewhat level today. Hope to have enough stone mix left over to cover a few areas in the driveway and lane that need some. Then I'll start on the asphalt.

    The bad part is I took a bad fall yesterday. Not only hurt my back bad again but can't use my right shoulder much yet as it is very sore just below the shoulder. But they say that area of the upper arm is from the rotating cuff or something like that. I just feel like I got cuffed pretty hard.

    Low 80's this week in S.Jersey and I saw a low temp later this week of 58, back side of summer I think is here (hopefully). I can recall some HOT Septembers.....!

    Rain is coming soon. So I planted all the grass seed in that area between house and pond and even York raked that whole area by the road I cleared the stumps from and planted all the grass seed as well. It is now sprinkling here. Perfect. :thumbs:

    Hi brought that pallet fork frame to my neighbor/friend and asked him what he thought he could do to strengthen it up. Showed him the gusset plates up above and he said “Let’s do this:”

    Piece of channel between the two of them. Just like you suggested. It is welded down the back side of channel as well. That way both have to bend now. Hopefully that is unlikely.LOL

    Dennis, take good care and heal up quick. Rotator cuff injuries can be troublesome. Don’t mess around by doing any heavy lifting. Hang in there!
