Once the grass grows in, that pond and land is going to be one of the best Vistas that can be had. I hope you take a picture for every month, then make a calendar from it.

I'm a big proponent of IP67 or better waterproofness for phones. Older phones could get away with otterboxes or lifeproof cases, but as the phones get bigger adding a bulky case only makes them not ft in your pocket.

My phone is technically not waterproof, but it has a splash resistant coating that I've tested quite thoroughly. Wet dogs on the lake really test those limits.

My phone wouldn’t last more than a couple days in my job field without a waterproof tuff case and a belt clip. ( Been there done that! )I don’t like the bulk of the case but I like not having to replace it all the time.

As for brand screw the name brand cases I have had excellent luck with $5 to $8 cases of amazon. My current case is a waterproof tuff shell with rubber overmold and was $8 free shipping and it’s better than otter box or lifeproof. (I’ve had both) I think the brand was mblai or some weird name like that.

Personally I think lifeproof is overpriced garbage I’ve had more problems trying to keep that stupid waterproof membrane at the bottom clean so people can hear me and the case from getting wet that I gave up and tossed it in the trash.. Much better results and luck with the cheap cases. This one saved my phone from a good 15’ drop a few days ago and not a scratch on case or phone.. We have google drive for manuals and wiring schematics and have to look at them while on ladders, beams, in pits, under parlors, working on chiller units and so on...

I am sinfully abusive to any phone I carry. Last time I was phone shopping the young lad made a recommendation after hearing my needs. For 2 years now, I am carrying a military grade Kyocera. It can be dropped into water up to 30' for up to 30 minutes. It can survive a 10' fall onto hard surfaces. It has yet to let me down..................."takes a daily Chit-Kickin' and keeps on Tickin". I'm really impressed.

There's a couple mil spec and waterproof phones out there. Some are pretty svelte that you would never guess that they are mil spec. Then there's other phones that are waterproof, but fragile.

Thanks to both of you. We are going to the big smoke tomorrow and I will have a look in Staples and The Source to see what they have.

Now I'm trying to think of a five letter word that starts with E, and fits.
    :sherlock:

I figured it would start with T.

Nah,the grammar is wrong, it should be "an Erica", not "a Erica".
