Installed a new sliding glass door at the BILs house today. Picked up a couple old pianos for dirt cheap and took one home and the other to my SILs house. Those muthers are heavy.

Hung some trim in the basement bathroom. Finished sanding the dining room benches down.

Getting ready to have some homemade hard cider. I'm whipped.

I put a starter relay on a friends tractor and brought home his generator. Started cleaning up the grain bins, mixed up a load of dairy feed, fed, now I'm milkin. Next I have to see if I can remember how to change the time on all the clocks.

Church next door has a sign (15' off the ground) with the lights not working for a few years.
Told preacher I look at it
We found several causes, bad photo cell, 1 shorted wire, broken wires, Bad ballast, bulbs etc...
Has 8' lamps, new ballast were $330 each, 4 lamps on each ballast. Special order.
We were able to re-wire it using -20° rated, 8' , 2 bulb ballasts local.. Several wiring changes
    2 days later, it's working.
Ballast aren't the high output rated ones but Preacher was happy. Takes a while to fire up to full brightness.
Told him it would work better if he left it on all winter, turn it off in the Spring when daylight hours are back.

Good work. Hope he takes your advice to keep it running in the winter, low power and cold of winter can keep even the light of god('s sign) keep from shining.

Need caffeine. Must go to work. Nice work on the sign Dave. Good on you. Concretgrazer, I wish you were closer to me. I need to figure that tractor thing out. It just has not been on the top of my priority list. Too much going on, so that is down lower on the list.

I have to work a few hours this morning. Then, I'm on vacation this week. I'm building an equipment shed. I'm thinking about starting a thread with pics of the progression. It's gonna be a fun week!

I'm still busy painting the basement. Taking much more time than I thought. Found a cheap Bixby Pellet stove on CL (came with some pellets, about $500 in brand new Simpson Dura vent, and a Hearth pad) I picked it all up for $300!! Gonna clean and sell the stove and venting. I only wanted the pad.

I moved the 30-NC and laid the hearth pad down. It's concrete floors, but once I move the pool table, foose ball table, and bar over from the old Man Cave to the new one? It should "Dress" it up a lil.

A couple before and after pics (room was pretty small till the wall was knocked down)

Working on Swags 026 today. Gotta get it done. Head in out now. :)

Looking really nice. How do you like that pellet furnace? I looked at them really hard to replace my propane furnace with but given the fact the propane furnace hasn't run in years and we don't even have propane I couldn't justify the cost.

Love the furnace. One of the best investments I have made. When temps dip into the 20°'s? That's when we use it. Right now, the freestanding Enerzone is pumping away upstairs.

The rooms all are an even temp with the furnace and the hopper is large enough to not fill it for about 2 days.
With it near the wood stove downstairs, I stove pend a lot of time in that room. So that's why we are moving everything over from the other room (Man Cave).
