Same here, work is slacks and dress shirts or polos depending on the season, occasionally a suit. Only time you.will catch me dressing in much more than jeans and a tee shirt outside of work is for a wedding. F that!

We have uniforms @ our shop, and that suits me fine. When we (wife and myself) were in IT, we had "nice" clothes, slacks, shirt, shoes.

    Bahhh.

I've been in a uniform of some sort, with boots nearly my entire adult life.

    I like it that way.

Others can climb the corporate ladder, I'll hold it steady for them.
(Well, maybe shake it now and again.;) )

  Neither it sounded funny:whistle:

She was setting on the couch and cutting a small piece and for whatever reason stabbed the piece of turkey with the knife rather than the fork and it flew off the plate. Twas a funny moment.

I've been known to do such things as well.

Hate the screechy noise the knife makes on the plate. :hair:

Talk about a rusty ranger. There's a few feet missing from the frame.....

I hated driving with my plow on. I didn't drive the truck much, but I always wanted the plow off unless it predictable that there would be snow soon. Now my son does all the plowing. I sold my truck and gave the camper to one of my kids. I've been shedding a lot of stuff I no longer need or use. Too bad I don't shed some pounds, then maybe I would be able to use some stuff. :headbang:

I’ve had many a vehicle like that! We spent years buying $400 - $500 beater vehicles to get us through. I have a lot of fond memories of some of those old vehicles!

The worst one was missing the back 2’ of frame under the bed on the passenger side, no floor in the cab and no front bumper.

We used stove pipe and rivets for the floorboards, had a friend weld and box the back two feet with scrap and used a 4*4 for the front bumper. It died two months later:startled: Not one of our better purchases. Most of the vehicles we bought got us a year or better...

I don't blame you, I wouldn't want to drive around with a plow unless necessary. This truck however never moves except to plow, except maybe to be worked on or a little startup to keep from seizing up. She's not street legal and never leaves the property

Reminds me of a guy near mom's place that I knew growing up, married to a very distant relative of mine and now separated. lived on welfare, smoked like a tilt, probably still does, and had some interesting rides, about one a year.

What kind of vehicle was that one you just described?
