    It felt decent here. Granted, I was in the lake at 10am until 6:30 pm. We invited my engineer friend out and he met us at the lake.

    Back at it tomorrow. It's supposed to be even hotter. That's fine.

    I left the boat hooked to the truck overnight. Easier in the am to head out again. We'll have to stop for gas tomorrow am in the boat, but there's an easy station to stop on the way.

    One of 2 giant mouth species here in Wisconsin. The other is a luna moth. Those are light green and huge.

    I sure hope it continues for the next 3 days.

    We had a storm come through here today and got about 3.5 tenths of an inch. 40 mph winds with it.

    Went camping the last 3 days up in the mountains not to far away from the Lincoln monument on I-80. Brother in law brought 2 horses and we rode for about 4 hours all through the mountains there.

    All in all it was a good time.

    Unbelievable stroke of fortune!! I am so shocked it went this way opposed the to single digit humidity and over 100* for weeks at a time with the High Park Fires I'm still trying to process it all.

    It dropped down to 59* this afternoon, on and off rain, many windows cracked open for some FRESH air :rootintootin::banana::dancer:

    My weather station says .47" rain so far :singingintherain:

    So funny story from work. I was telling co-workers about my fiskars hookaroon. One guy only heard part of the conversation. He heard me say what he thought was "hooker room" . He said wow, some guys are proud of their man cave, and you have a hooker room?

    Poor WWW, he went to the doc today. Not sure if when where what, but I have no doubt the smoke in town played a large part and has bronchitis. 4 meds prescribed, FBS WWW and I hope you get to sleep at night soon.

    I fixed 2 people's boats on the lake today. One was an I/O that had a hose clamp loosen up on a coolant hose and it was filling the engine bay up with hot water, and the bilge was shooting it out the back as far as it was coming in. 3/4" hose, so that was a lot of water. Easy 5 minute fix.

    The other was fixing a shoddy mechanic's new coil plug wire jobby that didn't have the terminals in correctly. That was a 1/2 beer fix.


    Yeah, I'm that guy. Everyone on the lake knows it too. I'm fine with that.:yes:
