Heard your Mayor was riding with the group and that his son who is a state trooper was leading the procession into town.

Heard that on the 60's music channel on Sirius XM this afternoon. Quite a discussion on the topic of the ride.

Not much up today. Windows10 just did an update that took a very long time. Old truck I'm selling for my neighbor is up to almost 400 views. Weather is nice.

The son (Tyler) and a close friend of mine helped on a hoarding outing back in late 2014 before I joined FHC; pics weren’t in such demand then, but I can assure all, it happened!:yes::yes:

Yeah, I didn't even look at it up close. I just knew that basswood was one of them. Then I looked at my picture and thought, that tree on the right isn't basswood.

I've got our normal holiday weekend leave an hour ( or 2) early on Friday, then working only 3 days as I'm taking off on Friday June 1 for the superbike races at Road America.

Wow. This is early, but perhaps not for down there. Into June before any hay cutting around here.

yooperdave that really looks great. All cutting and no brush to handle. Just take it easy with that back of yours. If you were closer I'd come and help. Two cripples working on that wood pile would have it done in no time. Only two months at most and we'd have it done.

Not sure if you're interested in World War II aircraft but two of these shows are in your backyard.

Went to the grocery store this morning. I decided to stop by at my ex son-in-law's place of business to remind him that my stove was scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Met his secretary at the front door and she said. "Pull around the back and he will load you." Ha. It came a day early.
Spent most of the afternoon getting it off my truck. It was suppose to weight 500 lbs. and my mini-steer is rated at 750 lbs. It wouldn't lift it without raising the rear tires. Finally figured out the problem.
    Now a proud AS owner.

Sweet! Now that's just gonna sit there and drive you nuts all summer while the AC is running :D
BTW, that 750 # lift capacity on your mini steer is probably with the forks/bucket very near the ground...at pickup truck bed level it may very well be considerably less...but that depends on the geometry of the lift arms, etc. though too...also the load rating is usually with the load centered on or behind the halfway point on the forks (lengthwise) if the stove stuck out past the end of the forks/bucket then that reduces lift capacity too...and fast!
My 2 cents...obviously you got it unloaded and safely on the ground
