How about a few bacon burgers to top it off?

You can surely tell the weather has warmed up a lot. The activity level on the forum has dropped dramatically.

Nothing that a winter in the U.P. with a few pasties couldn't cure!

Had to go to the city today. Had some sort of a Mexican food at El Toro, or was it Taco Bell? Some crunchy thing but don't remember what it is called. But it was delicious! Don't stop to eat at those places very often but once in a while it is good.

Sure...can't hurt...looks like they both have a ways to go to not be at risk of blowing away in a stiff breeze.
You got that right. Its not very often I can reply in this thread and there be no more posts for most of the day!

Yeah, it's definitely quieter here at this time.

We did have a fire in the stove last night though. Basswood and semi punky sugar maple. The fire felt amazing. The house was at 70 despite the rain and 50° weather. Now today was about 70°, but the rest of this week the heat will increase daily.

This might be the warmest memorial day weekend I've seen if the guessers are right.

Taking the motorcycle to work the next couple of days.

My deductible is $500, but everything is well covered. The boat is insured at top dollar, and home and autos are well covered too. I can't complain about the premium.

Philanthropy is not something I connote with Soros. Sorry.

It's the first thing that comes up on searches. I know, it's a touchy subject.

    We'll let this topic die.

So, I stumbled upon these at my land over the weekend. I wasn't planning on cutting more basswood, but these 2 fell across my atv trail. So it's easy to get.

The one on the left is probably 20"+ dbh. Plus there's a dead ironwood standing in the right. All will be future BTU's
