    :drool:... I’m going to try to get another round started. Bought 6 plants and split one into three and found a survivor from years past... so I’ve got ten in the garden now... Have you had them before or did you split one up? Any tips?I haven’t had long term luck with mine... hopefully since I’ve got them in the garden they take off and produce...

    Chvymn99, mom always told me that rhubarb needed to be in a patch, and it took years for the roots to become mature. Once that happens it was almost impossible to get rid of it.. So once you get it started do not turn over dirt in spring. Ohh mom had a huge rhubarb and strawberry patch. Mmm pie

    Bwauahahahaaha!!!:rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    I shouldn't laugh, but I have to. I admittedly drink Coors light some times when I'm out on the lake in the boat all day. I do prefer a Point Special lager for on the lake, but I'll buy whatever in quantity. Gotta stay hydrated on the lake in the sunshine. Coors light is pretty close to water.

    Nothing wrong with Coors or Bud light for all day drinking, gotta pace yourself!....but there's no way in hell I'm gonna kick back at the end of a long day with one. Though I haven't had a single beer in three months because of this diet. Vodka, or wine on the few work dinners, and bourbon at home occasionally.

    I had an old rhubarb plant at the bottom of the property that had been there for 30 years and was totally neglected. It was in the shade and at the bottom of a slope so it did great until a couple of years ago. Last fall we dug it up, split it into five plants and put them in a different location. They immediately sprouted leaves. this spring, they are coming up great and guess what! I still have one coming up in the old spot. I think shade and moisture and neglect is what works for them. I will get steer manure around them this year to give them a boost but I won't pick them very heavy. Canadian border VT is right though. Once established, they don't need too much care. When campinspecter was living on a small farm as a boy, the rhubarb plants were down hill from the water spout in the cow pasture. They did great.

    Looks like the weather has finally cleared up, and I'm stuck at my inlaws for my/my stepdaughters birthday instead of being productive.

    3 bays, 3 cords, not nearly enough. One bay is half storage area. But it holds most of a winter's wood.

    Looks like there's plenty of room to add onto the front of it.
