I made a long overdue dump run this morning, then made a stop at Verizon to stock up on 3x6's from their (they're there) scrap pile so I can start stacking. Wife wanted to go to the gym, so the little one and I went for a walk in the woods. Once she comes home it's time to get to splittin and stackin!

Mwalsh9152 it's a city in Wisconsin, renowned for it's sausages and bratwurst. It's actually the bratwurst capital of the world.

You say that now. Try it, you might like it. Lol

If you ever get to Wisconsin, lmk. I'll cook up some propah' brats for you. I recall when I moved to Maine, trying to find proper bratwurst or sausages was difficult. Luckily Walmart carried then, but the closest Walmart was like 40 minutes away by car. That was 18 years ago though.

Now I know that sausage makers like Johnsonville advertises Nationwide, and have made it easier to procure them around the nation. There's better bratwurst than Johnsonville though.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! :salute:
It’s nice to be home today for a change. We had a wind storm up here this week so I put in some major hours the last few days. Getting to spend time with my son I haven’t seen in almost a week and some of the family is coming over later for pulled pork and of course Dutch oven triple chocolate cake

It’s amazing the difference in wings in other areas. I’m used to the ones here and if I travel elsewhere and order them I never seem to get what I was expecting.

Got the saws started after the winter storage. Both started right up. Moved 1/4 cord of wood up to the house. Where is spring? Hopefully I will have to move it back to the storage pile.
Measured and drew up plans for a hearth. Hearth required dimensions for the IS came really far out into the stove room. Drew up a hearth for an AS. Called Woodstock and changed my IS order to an AS. Since the hearth will come out about 4 feet from the right wall, the side load feature made more sense.
