A biz trip to Germany, but close enough that I snuck across the border to visit Prague for the weekend.

I recall the story about that dog. Good Girl protecting her kid!!

We had 3 baby coons here a year or so ago, they started showing up in the dogs fenced back yard in the daytime. WWW and I went out there spraying them with the hose because Blondie needed to go pee. Kiddo opened the door at the wrong time, Blondie squeezed through and got out and it looked like she "almost" got a jaw on the threatening lil coon I was busy rushing the kid back inside at that moment. Baby coon ended up in our garage :picard: , he was sticking his head out from a storage shelf til the next morning. We finally got the coon out, trapped the other 2 kits and mom over the next 4 nights, and never saw the one Blondie got again. Thank God for our courageous pets wanting to protect us, and I don't think so in this case, but Rabies vaccines just in case for our pets so they can protect us and be safe!! Good Girl GSD!! (forgot her name, Lady?). And shake her paw for me on helping you win the bride of your dreams :)

Hope the encounter turned out just to be a scared fox that is in the middle of spring shedding (yes, I know it is cold and not spring like, but my cats are going thru their shedding and my birds are moulting now). If there was any slobber or blood exchanged, make sure to get your dog to the vet for a rabies booster - even if she just had one 6 months ago.

Edit: See you implied that the fox is now taking a long nap. Maybe get it to fish and game for testing?

I am enjoying my week off so I am up later than usual. Road trip tomorrow so it will be an early start. Getting a few things done on my list for this week but the best thing is watching the curling everyday. Should be two interesting games today. I won't be so fortunate to watch as much as the Men's world championship.

Good morning all. A light breakfast and caffeine in. Tough time sleeping last night, was having sinus problems. Hopefully it was just allergy issues and not a cold coming on. Day off today so I’ll get a little late morning exercise in around the house while I decide what to do outdoors this afternoon.

Day started badly here with vertigo. Seems under control now, thankfully. I hate that stuff but it gets me now and then.

On the good side, there is no fresh snow on the ground here. Still have a few small spots of snow where the sun has not hit. Soon it will get warm enough so the remaining snow will melt...I hope.

Wow. Just came inside from doing some work on the tractor. My hands really got cold out there. No sunshine today but that is to be expected because we just came off of several days in a row with no clouds at all. Next week they are saying we should hit 50 again.

Wife called me a couple hours ago in a bit of a panic. Our 1.5 year old fell off a chair and she was pretty sure he broke his arm. I ran home from work and he was/is sleeping soundly on the couch. Looks like a false alarm...for now. I figure kids that age are pretty durable and he should be fine when he wakes up.

Yea. Better that than hours in emergency room. We have had similar things over the last few years

Kid woke up and seems normal...or normal for him anyway.

I have exactly 4 pieces of trim left to install tonight. I should be able to easily knock that out.
