    We have enough chest beaters at work that I don't have to be one. I spent a year in training to become a lineman. Luckily for me its a company program and I got paid to learn.

    No matter Mike...as long as your wife feels good inside knowing what she does for a living matters, thats all that matters. I'm glad she was recognized for her efforts, well deserved!!

    Today was my day to sleep in, but my neighbour's roofers showed up at 6 am and commenced work right outside of our bedroom window. So I turned up my podcast and went back to sleep-- because I'm a doer!

    I was sitting around last night and the rib fairy showed up. My neighbor brought over 6 of the best ribs I've ever had...I knew the weekend was off to a good start.

    Today I made the MIL a set of 5 board benches for her birthday. Copied a set her dad made and she always talks about how she wished she had a set of her own. Now she does.

    Mowed the yard. Tilled the garden. Took the kids swimming. Went to Mass. Got the kids fed and in bed. Wife is at the MILs birthday party so I have the night to myself.
