I'm working on a job doing sidewall repairs. The home was built in 1912, it has red cedar shingles on the second floor and clap on the first. Over the years barn swallows have burrowed inbetween the knit corners (no cornerboards). There must be 30 holes in this house. I'll have to shoot a pic tomorrow. Poor fellas will be homeless in the am

That grey area you are talking about is the area for your signature.

Cursor over your name in the upper right portion of a page, you should see your name and profile picture and below that two columns of things you can edit or look at, place the cursor on Signature in the left had column and click on it.

That will bring up and editor screen where you can change or enter a signature.

Lousy weather outside today, didn't even attempt to dig in the dirt or poop. The chickens were not impressed with the rain, wind, and crash bang booms.

Held the little one, even managed to get her out of her chair. So the arm is definitely getting better, a squirming 6 month old can really test the joints and such.

 

Had some beers with the girls after work tonight. Always a good time, lots of laughs were shared

 

Oh boy!!!! Off to get more grandbaby hugs today... You guys have a gud one... ... I'm gonna.

 

Another yucky (highly technical term) day, will likely participate in the same activity as Stinny as we have our youngest one here today. Right now she is giving grandma her marching orders.

 

Having my birthday party tonight-- burgers all around. My baby is making me a chainsaw cake!

 

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the birthday is actually tomorrow, the party is just tonight. Thanks for your warm wishes

There... I'm all set for another week...

 

Leaving work shortly...then to the hardware store for some stuff...then to the kid's ballgame...then I don't know.

 

Can't get motivated to do anything. 2 nights of call ins and minimal sleep during the day can kind of wear on you. Got to sleep a while today but don't sleep good during daylight hours. Least I don't look like a zombie anymore.

My little guy has his first ball game tonight, I'm not sure who's more excited him or his momma!

 

Holding & huggin' that little guy has become something a lot more than I ever would have believed. When he clamps onto my beard... it's something more than I would have believed too...

Hard to get going without sleep. Hope you can get some zzzzzzzzz's tonite...

 

Bet his Momma's gonna be more nervous than he his. I used to pitch to my son when he was on a 6 yr old baseball team. He got so he'd hit every single throw without missing, even really bad ones. But... when he got to the games, he never hit one. Almost for the whole season. He couldn't even swing the bat. He just looked at every pitch go by... ...mercifully, he'd walk once in a while. If dad wasn't throwing, he wasn't getting anywhere near that ball...

 

Shaved and showered after splitting wood all day, then went and got a haircut. Well, actually got them all cut, oh you know what I mean! Off to take my son to his baseball game.
