Evening folks! Got the little one into the car and took her for a short rode.so she would fall asleep while my wife helped clean up. Now we need to get home and prep for santa's arrival before bed. Merry Christmas, and an even happier day after Christmas!

Looks like what I was driving on when going to the airport at 3:15 am yesterday. Very light traffic and didn't get behind any sand trucks so I got there without incident.
Unfortunately it’s not ever enough there are thousands of homeless in the area. I wish we could do more. I’m proud to know thee guys they have little but give all they have... Very good men and women!
Merry Christmas! A cool 19 degrees with 20mph winds. Got a couple inches of snow last evening, the roads were warm, the snow melted and then froze, howling winds. Roads were a mess last nite when I clocked out of the workhouse@ 2200 hrs. Pretty much drove 35mph all the way home, several slide offs. I get to work today, 7a to 3p,, gonna' leave early, travel safe if you have to get out. Peace.

Merry Christmas! Waiting for 07:00 to roll around, reverse Santa curfew. I can hear them moving around up there. Fire restarted, watching it snow and waiting on the wind.
Merry Christmas Hoarders!!!!!.................Santa arrived here about 3 this a.m. and left me a really nice case of the intestinal tract bug that is going around. We got about 2" of snow over night but radar shows it will be movin' on in the next couple of hours. Awesome job Pete . Everyone have a Great and Safe day.

Nah, post was typed sitting in the inlaws driveway. Didn' get to bed until after 1am, then up at 6:30. Little one is still sleeping, I hope she sleeps in, she was a train wreck when I brought her in the house last night. Sitting drinking my coffee watching the snow fall. It's been years since we had snow on Christmas. I think I did 20+ hours that storm clearing streets. Probably about 15 years ago.
I figured as much and hesitated to post that....just didn't hesitate long enough, I guess! When my son was still a toddler, we thought it would be nice if I took him for a ride on the snowmobile. Nice day, etc. got him all bundled up (firstborn type of bundling now, mind you) and he and I took off! I had him on the seat in front of me and we rode along the rite of way nice and slow....then all of a sudden his head droops down...The little guy fell sound asleep! I cradled him into my arms turned around and returned home...I had traveled probably 1/4 mile total (round trip)!!!
It's snowing pretty heavy down here too! There was pretty low visibility for a bit. Thankfully the only time I will climb into a vehicle today is to clear the driveway.
Bird is in the oven, most of the family is napping....and I have a strong drink in my hand hoping it will knock down the back pain from shoveling. Took my 3yo daughter out to plow the driveway with me. Had to put three pillows under her butt so she could see out the windshield. She loved it....first time I've had fun plowing snow in a loooong time. Took 3 times as long with her in the truck.....but I didn't mind.
