Haha. Our old swift right before she was sold. Drove her to truck sellers house, bought truck, and sold the car outside right afterwards haha

That car did stuff some people wouldn't do with an f-450....

Finally getting house put back together after the weekend 12 and 13 year old party.. I find it funny what was left behind by accident:

    1) wallet
    2) 3 pair of gloves
    3) 2 pair of snow pants
    4) apple iPad
    5) 1 bottle of medicine
    6) 5 individual socks none of which made a pair
    7) 1 pair of boots

Good grief there were only 13 (including mine) pre teens here! The official invite (yes girls do that) stated there would be a Yankees gift exchange and be outside activities (remember snow gear) 4 forgot gifts (wife covered that with extras she got in case ...I got a wonderful bride:D) and only half brought outside clothes! I can't figure how mathematically, how we had that much left behind when only half remembered outside clothing! Consider outside temperature were single digits with 6 inches of snow on ground!

Also Well Seasoned will attest that my driveway is not conducive to 15 vehicles going back forth at same time. The parents are punctual I'll give them that.

Ya that old motor really ticks me off. It hasn’t run well from the day it was made. Last night I was looking online at parts lists when I realized there’s no contact number and then discovered they went out of buisness years ago.... Hmm wonder why.:headbang:

I did get it running again and like it should have from the factory. I stopped at a local power supply place and he had the parts. $34 in rings, gaskets, springs and clips and a new boot made a huge difference.:picard:I valve lapped it too and man where the valves bad looks like the swap may wait another 10 years if it stays running good. Just finished putting it all back together for good this time. Little twerp runs good for now.o_O

It starts one pull now and that’s a first! It has never started on one pull more like 4 or 5 if your lucky which is why the starter gets used most the time:whistle:

I am thinking about installing a stator and battery now to make it start easier. Of course then I need to convert it to 12 volt. Ugh I give up:loco:

Tried to catch up on some sleep today. Didn’t work very well. Oh well. It’s time to go bring some more hardwood in. And probably do some shoveling. I don’t think I’ll clean up all this snow though (I think we got 3-4” so far), it is suppose to rain tomorrow (39 degrees) and the go back to being cold. Hmmm. What to do? Leave the snow to catch the freezing rain and rain and then plow?

Either way. My long vacation starts tomorrow after work!:)

Tecumseh really didn't go out of business, they were closed after being bought by an in state rival, Briggs and Stratton. To some it may be the same, but I don't see it that way. Seriously, Briggs couldn't figure out how Tecumseh motors were so easy to start in the cold vs their motors. So they bought Tecumseh, then killed Tecumseh off. My wood/deer cutting buddy's dad retired from Briggs as an emissions engineer.

Well maybe it is fixed right then. It starts rediculasly easy now. The only issue I am having is I kinda like it now that it’s fixed. We debated fixing it and selling it but why... At this point it works I might go buy a HF motor out of spite:rofl:

I’m just venting the stupid thing runs great now besides I have 5 or 6 hours rebuilding that thing it’s staying put:whistle:

It’s interesting to hear Briggs bought them out. Our newer push mower as a one start pull engine and it runs great....
