I am flat out wore out.

That actually doesnt even put a dent on the description of how tired i am.

    I am pooped!!!

Really pushing my luck with my body..

Starting yesterday, me and a firewood buddy cut down 4 trees.
1 large and very ugly hard maple. This tree produced a ton of wood.
Its one of those trees, about 38" across at the base thats been there for years, under
power lines.. Power company has come and hacked out the center of the tree and
its caused it to grow all sorts of funky. Yeah its gone.

Another was a willow tree that was about 60% rotten and about 44" across.
Another was a white oak that was healthy, about 19" across.
And last but not least, im not even sure what kind of tree it was. But it was 2 trunks
that were split with a ton of rot, right up next to a house and in between some power lines.
Oh and we trimmed a massive oak tree in the back yard that was hanging over the house.

Ive cut down trees before, like in a field.
Never have i been 48' up in a lift cutting a tree piece by piece.
Never have i cut a tree that was within 50 yards of power lines before..

You talk about a huge accomplishment..
House belongs to my boss's girlfriend. She invested in the property to turn it into
    a rental.

Ive got a few pictures, i'll throw a thread together with the pictures i took.

Had a squirrel trapped up way up yonder too.
He wouldnt come down, we even tried leaving for almost 2 hours, he didnt budge.
Well, he came down eventually. Took a few pictures of that too.
I claimed he was protesting, didnt want his tree gone.

Wow, I look forward to the pics! You accomplished a lot in one day. Did you keep the wood that was sound?

I need to get my azz out and finish leveling the ground so I can throw the rest of the shed together, then maybe load some firewood onto the porch for the week. These 1:00 football games dont help productivity much.

Christmas outdoor decorations will be put up today thanks to the mild temps forecasted. May be early for us, but sure beats freezing your hands for the "no glove work" portion of it.

And 99 would like one light fixture in the basement changed out...no biggie there!

Missing my family Thanksgiving because of sick dogs.

Lots to keep busy around the house and at work. Looks to be in the 50s so it should be a nice day.

It has been raining quite heavily for a couple of days but this morning after our rainy walk, the skies have cleared in places and blue sky is shining through. I still think we are in for more rain though. This afternoon is the Grey cup final for CFL football. Hopefully it will be an exciting game and not a blowout. Hard to pick a favorite but I think I will cheer for the western team.

Took my bride out to put up the annual garland on the footbridge today. Not sure how many years we've been doing it, but I do know when we aren't prompt in getting it put on, some of the older ladies in town ask when we are coming out to decorate. :)

Changed the wheels on a 2012 Malibu. Man that car has a lot of suspension travel, heavy duty trolley jack was topped out and the wheels were barely far enough off the ground to get them off and on.

And got a load of scrap....

I know it's too late now and I apologize for not mentioning it earlier....but.......

Why not put the furnace in a down-flow configuration?
