I've been dealing with back problems for nearly 7 or 8 years. I cant remember a day when I wasnt in pain. Ive gone through a few doctors, now on my 3rd. I would bring up my concerns with my back and none of the 2 previous doctors would even attempt to find out what was wrong.

My new doctor has taken care of me, talked to the right people and has gotten me in to see the right people. A few weeks ago I had 2 MRI's and learned that my spinal cord was being smashed in my upper T spine. That was it. No other explanation until yesterday. My spinal cord is in fact being smashed in my upper T spine. I also have a issue in my lower L4-L5 area that involves my spinal cord and my nerves.

Within the last 6 to 8 months, i have began to experience the loss of feeling on my lower left side. This is related to the L4-L5 area in my back. I don't have symptoms yet of the issue in my upper T spine. Surgery became questioned, we knew it was sketchy. Ive heard horror story one after the other, ive heard success story one after the other.

This morning, I met with a Neuro surgeon. He confirmed the problem in my lower and upper back. Its also been confirmed that I have a bunch of arthritis going on in my spine. Surgeon says surgery shouldn't be discussed at this time. The procedure I guess is far to risky. He says the only reason to think about surgery is if I was currently having issues with losing the use of my lower extramedies. This isn't an issue so for now we are simply focusing on pain management.

Im simply waiting to hear back from my insurance on the approval of getting my first injection in my lower back. Ill have problems the rest of my life, hard to think about but I have to find a way to ease the pain

Great that you have found a couple of Drs that care about you and that you can trust. You have to to it their way, though, do PT until it doesn't work, get injections until those don't work, then they will talk about surgery. In the meantime, there's a lot you can do to take care of your back. It's a tough nut if you're a firewood hoarder, for sure!

Tractor dealer called and said Mahindra rep. here today at 1, not tomorrow. Got this call at 11:30 ish and didn’t see message until 12:30. :picard:But made it there to talk to him. Now I wait, again with no tractor.o_O

Time for a looooong walk outside to clear my head. And then have a cold beer this evening and relax and visit with wife’s family who are coming in tonight. It will be good to see them.

Thanks Rotty I had a wonderful day of freezing to death then rebuilding my kerosene heater AGAIN because I need to work on the garage.

Seems like every year that old clunker needs work.

Had to rewire part of it, clean the orafice for the igniter and new fuel line. Now the thermostat works so that’s good:thumbs: 44E835CD-85AC-4C4B-ABA6-DE508EE31CF2.jpeg F965D9E6-32E3-4587-B0E0-4D128D65550F.jpeg

I think I have the same heater.Burns diesel or kerosene, and kerosene is rare out here.Is on loan at friends house, but hasn't been run more than 25-30 times, very little fumes compared to the really old one I had.

This puppy was smoking like a train I couldn’t take it so the furnace got put on hold and the heater got fastracked. I have to admit it hasn’t worked this good in YEARS. All new fuel lines seem to have been the ticket this year.

No smoke now can’t even smell the kerosene but that could be because I smell like a fuel station after tearing it apart lol.

I just adjusted the air looks like a little more tweaking but right now it’s 4 psi. If I crank it up the heater just about goes nuclear:drunk:

    How old is you heater?

Busy evening. My son's karate dojo put up 500 turkey dinners tonight. The owner has been doing this several years now. We had close to 80 folks helping out packing and moving boxes to different areas. 2 hours start to finish. These all get delivered tomorrow by volunteers. A nice way to start the holiday season.
