A little more accomplished today, and time spent with wife and kids. I've been asked to make bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast before they go to school. By the youngest one. I got to get my butt up early and get a move on. Time for

 

I was a cat hater until about 10 years ago when a beautiful Flame Point Siamese, can't claim it was but the Vet said and any image I pull up on a google search, was spitting image of him, showed up at my door. He was white, blue eyed and had orange points. Kids and grandkids couldn't believe that the old man would befriend a cat. We were instant buddies. About 2 years later I trip over a black cat on a very cold Dec. night when leaving for work. It became my 2nd cat. When my first cat crossed, I rescued 2 others from the shelter. Maybe 1 to many, but they have a forever home.
Glad to hear that 6 cats can be managed.

 

Hey, it sure beats setting up the movie screen, dimming all the lights and listening to the constant buzz/whir of the old 8mm projector, no? And all silent movies at that!

So I met the birthday girl yesterday, no idea it was her birthday today, she gave me an awesome gift!!

Morning Hoard, temps are on a down-swing and appear to be going to stay down. Let the fire burn out last evening but looks like we will fire up again shortly. underway then out to the woodpile and get to stacking the shed. Yesterday was a wash out thanks to mother nature. busy day yesterday, bit of misting early on that cleared off, hung out at the back of my place with the crossbow for a couple hours to see if anything would show--no dice, graded out the gravel on the drive - as far as draging the bucket backwards would let me get to , cleaned gutters, mowed lawn -well really mostly to grind up leaves. just about dark when finishing that, ran out of steam any way.

Frosty, clear and a full moon again this morning. We got out and went for a WALK!!! It was great after a week and half of not walking. Dogs stayed under the covers in the bed as it was below freezing. Another gorgeous day in paradise again. I am off to work today.

 

I get to leave work today to do one of my most favorite things. Teeth cleaning at the dentist office.
