Don't forget to recycle the old copper. Separate the a from b copper, as in soldered vs clean copper. $$$$

Mornin' Hoarders, 45 and building for a chit load of rain later today and tomorrow. Then the temps are supposed to be in the "fire-up" range next week. :coffee: :flipeggs: :beerbbq: in motion then out to the shop for some inside work. Everyone have a good, safe day.

We've got trick or treat at a friend's house today. I'll bring the firewood for the portable fire pit that goes in the driveway. I've got a stash of good Austrian pine that's great for the fire pit, but I think my buddy still has some of the horse chestnut leftover from last year when I dropped off about 2/3 of a cord at his place.

We'll need the fire as it's going to be in the 30's today. We're also having chilli and warm drinks.

I got my labs different costumes this year for the actual trick or treating when I go with our friends and their kids. They've been Batman, Superman, and Spiderman in recent years. Something different this year. I'll post up pics later.

Ibuprofen or Aleve ( naproxen), a heating pad, and maybe a lil back massage from the Missus. ;).

Give that a try. I've been having slight issues sleeping because our mattress is old and sucky.

Ibuprofen is a part of my life for sure. I think I was rolling over when it happened.

the cottage next door to me is being sold. From the day I bought the house a year and a half ago I had hoped to get the opportunity to buy it when the time came. Unfortunately, Its happening a year before I can do anything about it. So much for my future family room and garage. That cements my plan of moving in 5 years.

Well, that sucks. Timing is everything. Been there done that myself with my grandpa's cottage. Mom sold it to out of stater's.

In that case, don't go crazy and get 10 years ahead in firewood. ;)

Yeah, what can ya do? There's a new neighbor down the street, just moved up from MS, and brought a friend with him. Wife says he's a good guy, I think he's gonna buy it, so at least it's someone good. Hopefully I can convince him to paint it a color that complents my house instead of the green that it is.

Just coming home from the dump, as I'm turning the corner onto my street I see Asplundh is working on my street today. I feel like a kid in a candy shop! I'll have to keep an eye out. Lots of us burn though.

Asplundh will just chip it all here and haul it away unless the land owner tells them to leave it as firewood.

Well the wife and daughters went horse riding through the trails today. My son rode his mini bike after that. I caught up on some needed sleep. The wind is picking up here. Now it's time for my son and I to get out and move some more firewood. Then cover whatever we don't get under the porch.

They will chip everything but the trunks here. Those get left piled next to the road, or.sometimes just in the ditch as they fall.

Made new raised beds and moved the garden. While at Lowe’s we found 5-5’ Pin Oak trees for $7.50 each! Got those planted also! I’m tired for some reason. ;)
