Windy and warm this morning on our walk and no rain. I think we are in for a couple of days of good weather. Lots of leaves on our walk that would scurry along the road spooking the dogs.

This is my last day of work for a week. Tomorrow the doctor is taking the screw out of my foot.

Chimney is cleaned. Getting ready to throw some chicken and taters in the skillet for dinner. Son's BB game tonight.

Seriously considering taking a couple days off later in the week to kill some deer.

Must be the day for having chicken. Wife is fixing that for supper tonight. Good luck deer hunting. That makes for some mighty fine eating.

In the last three days, I've found one tick on me each time I've come in. They were just crawling so no blood sucking ticks.......yet.

I was walking the dog all three times so I haven't been spraying my clothes with anything, that will change tomorrow morning. It looks like this fall the ticks will be bad.

I use to spray my work clothes with the stuff that kills them dead but haven't done a spray since spring. When I'm cutting I've been spraying down with off.

Looks like our foliage is about to take a hit with hard rain & 40 mph wind gusts over the next few days. Guessing that'll clear the deck for the season. Color's been off around our house this year. The green screen along the stonewall is giving way already and we can look way down into the woods out back now. Love it... !

Bare naked trees here. Winds took care of that!

Yeah, made/scripted video right there. After about 25 seconds, I was thinking....the building is not that tall...just how long does it take them to go all the way to the top floor in the longest scenario? :sherlock:

    Funny though.

The balance of ours went in last night's storm. Did the final lawn vac today then off-loaded the vac system from the tractor. My new Kubota is supposed to be in next Monday so got the current tractor ready for it's final ride here on the Ponderosa.

Caught up on some sleep today again. Spent a good amount of time on the phone off and on for an hour with Mahindra representatives talking with them about all the lost time I've had with my tractor. And that I'm waiting, once again, so I can use it because they had to order a new hydraulic steering cylinder.:(

Went to the last soccer game for the season tonight. All the kids are done now. We will have a couple weeks free before Basketball practices start. And then a couple more weeks before the first games.

My wife and daughter went shopping and made a nice beef stroganoff dinner in the crock pot. I had put the beef and stock in the crock pot early in the afternoon. Falling apart when we ate it. Delicious.

Currently trying to walk off some of those calories, but it's almost time to . I'll be caught up by 5am.

Have a good nights rest hoarders.

I finally got this bandsaw set up and ready to use. Shameful it took so long as I had purchased it in March!!!

She's ready now, gonna start soon with the lathe, too.

A deer tick was walking on one of my labs ears last night. That one got burnt. We've never had them here before, and we haven't been up north to the cabin since labor day. Crazy.
