Canned up 6 quart of Salsa today.
90s today about died picking the tomatoes. Suppose to be in the high 60s tomorrow. Maybe some wood cutting tomorrow. Forecast looks like maybe a fire Sat.
Just tasted the Salsa. Not the best. It will make some dandy chili though.

Up and at em. Caffeine! Today will be more trail work. I've been waiting to hear from a guy about excavator rental. He told me last week he would call me Tuesday and let me know. I haven't heard yet. I called him Tuesday night and no answer, so I left a message on his machine just to put a bug in his ear in case he forgot about me. So I will start by working with the tractor and go after the smallest stumps first. Hopefully he will come through for me soon. If not, at least my tractor is working.

I'm looking forward to a cold snap. Looks like we'll be back up in the mid to upper 70's next week.

Long ago had the oil tank filled, then 2 days later they "filled" it again (was supposed to be for neighbor). Went all over the floor. The "figured" we had used 50 gallons in that time so needed to pay that. Um, in two days? 50 gals in that short a time, would mean I would have needed to get oil every 10 days! It was an apartment and that was the oil company contracted by the landlord. Needless to say that when we moved into our house, we didn't even consider using that company!
