Working on getting the gas furnace up and running in case we need it.

Last spring it smelled of gas, so I shut off the valves for pilot and main feed and threw the breaker.

So today, thinking it was just the pilot I opened the valve and lit the pilot. Done.

I then opened the main valve and threw the breaker, then cranked up the thermostat. Nothing. Zilch. Nada.

Not sure what to do next.

Anyone like yooperdave have an idea?

Maybe the Baso safety switch has something to do with it?

This picture is with valve in the off position before I opened it.

That's just what mine was doing...it had quit doin the auto defrost...freezing up solid every 2-3 days. All the individual items tested OK, it would do a forced manual defrost just fine...that narrowed it down to about a 99% chance of "JAZZ" board failure...this same board fits many models/brands BTW. From my research, the defrost coils have a very low failure rate, on mine anyways...its a Whirlpool French door top fridge/bottom freezer drawer.

Interesting. I have same/similar fridge. The tech ran diagnostics on it and said it showed a failed heater. I'll keep the old partts just in case it is the board.

I installed them, didn't work on them or service them.

Is your pilot flame enveloping the thermocouple (or thermopile)? Cleaned? It doesn't look like the unit has a forced draft, right? Looks like something a "bit" older or a conversion?

I think he could use a new furnace by the looks of what I see.

For some reason, even the data plate is charred and warped in those pics.

Amazing game. Absolutely amazing. The air refueling ( c130?) schlot ? Plane flyover was awe inspiring. It seems to me that everyone in the stands was signing to the national anthem, hats off, hands on heart, taking it all in. Whatever the players were doing at that point, I have no clue.

That game though. It was the hottest temperature game at Lambeau Field on record ( 91°) and Aaron Rodgers got the win against the only team he hadn't beaten (Bengals) and in overtime. What a game. The stands were packed all the way to the end, even after the Packers we're never leading in the game. Not until the last moments of overtime did the Packers have a lead.

We waited in the parking lot for 2 hours and did some post gating. We did that to hopefully avoid traffic home. Well that didn't work. Traffic was horrible, but it was a Milwaukee season ticket holder game, so everyone was going south at the same time. IMG_20170924_184458718_HDR.jpg
