Morning All. Everyone had fun last night - lots of pages to read. Went for my walk and the sky is absolutely clear with the space station glowing and lots of stars. Cool out but not freezing. Blue Jays got whumped last night. Hope they do better today.

Man oh man, I must've beat myself up pretty good yesterday getting that load in the woods.

    Very slow start this morning.

Well, no rest for the weary...that is, no more rest for the weary!

Off to get some more after a couple tasks are taken care of.

    Living the life! tonight.
Numerous phone calls with Amazon reps. about an order that didn't show up (but showed it did ). "Diamond" was the best, she's in the Philippines, thought mountains in Colorado sounded good.
New dawg has decided to do the dry-hump thing to old dawg. Yeah, that's kind'a entertaining, for about 2-3 seconds- then I drop the hammer. SMH
New dawg is good, don't worry.

Isn't that at 4pm EST? I'm hanging on to Summer as long as possible. Apparently, the weather here in NE Ohio has the same idea. It was 88° here in NE Ohio yesterday and looks like it will be that way for the next week. It was not terrible though since the humidity was manageable.

I want to head out to the woods at my dad's but I want to be able to bust it out when I go down there. I work slow above 70° so it'll have to wait a few days.

Which is exactly why so many servicemen would marry them decades ago.

Another gorgeous morning on my walk. Cool though about 45 F/7 C. No frost. I was a little later this morning so I got to see the eastern sky start to break into sunshine. Everyone have a great weekend.

It had been three years since we had gone and the colors were much better in 2014.

Just got back from grading out our Church parking lot. Someone went in and did doughnuts tearing the gravel lot up. The electronic sign out front said 92°, but it read a couple degrees high. It is in the high 80's again today.

My boys and I are getting trailers, saws and the tractor ready to head over to my dad's place. Hopefully, tomorrow morning we can get a couple trailers and the truck loaded before it gets too hot. We will probably load the dump trailer as well as the flatbed with poles and cut them here when its cooler. Truck may get poles too, just depends.

Work is done. Thinking extra hard about a career change lately. The travel and BS is getting to be more than I'm willing to put up with.

My BIL dropped off a dump trailer of wood.

Helped my other BIL install a new sliding glass door.

Chickens are hammering the water to the tune of 40 gallons a day and nearly 100 lbs of feed. They hit the freezer next week.

Date night with the wife tonight.

    Sipping a cold beer.

No wood was hauled today due to the rain. (And, ahem, my sore body!)

But, the gravel guy just called and moved my date up by 2 weeks. Sez he can be there tomorrow for work as he has an opening! Yes Eric VW camera is already loaded up for before and after pics.

Downside of that is that we had already made plans for 99's birthday this weekend. (I think she'll be OK with the postponement though! Unless you see a pic of a doghouse included!)
