Just 44, but my neighbor is 2000 acres of timber company land, open access.

Making plans to build, hopefully sooner than later.

Ran the Hounds around a bit today.

Not doing much of anything today. Going to make some hot sauce and eat a steak for dinner.

It's been nice meeting some of you   all that work getting the wood inventory to safe levels and it all ends on Sept 23.

Biblical prophecy claims the world will end on Sept. 23, Christian numerologists claim :jaw::jaw::jaw::jaw::jaw::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::salute::salute::salute::salute::salute::salute:

We spent the whole day on the lake today. Beautiful, mid 80 degree day, and the lake water was still 74 degrees.

The dogs are tired, our friends kids are tired, and one of our friends recently got a German Shepherd puppy, so we had him in our boat for a little bit today. 14 weeks old and already 25 lbs. It was good for him to go swimming, meet other dogs, and go for a boat ride.

I've never personally dealt with deep depression, but I have lived with it in the form of family that does. My advise is to find a counselor that you like and then you and/or your wife go see him/her as needed, it really helps. I have one that I recommend to people as needed here locally...really cool dude... he would be as likely as any of us to come to a FHC get together and hang out, chop some wood and shoot the bull...not one of those psycho-babble guys...just common sense ways of dealing with life and even physiological/metal health issues.
Another thing that helps is to find a cause. I like to get involved through our church and the many community outreach programs they do. If not involved in a church (consider it...the hole in all of our hearts is God shaped) then find a way to help people that are much less fortunate than you. Taking the focus off of yourself and putting your thoughts/creativity/energy into someone else is huge...I mean HUGE, when going through a rough patch...it can be addictive...and you can make a real difference in someone's life.
There are many people out there willing to help and or listen when you need...as was said earlier, I'm sure many people here on FHC would be happy to PM with you, or even take a phone call when you are struggling.
Oh, any chance you have SAD? (seasonal affective disorder) I know quite a few that have depression issues starting more so this time of year when the days start getting shorter...they make special lights that can help with this...upping your vitamin D (big time) intake can help some people too.
    Be well man!
