Computer is really acting up tonight! Had it shut off for a few days and came back to S-L-O-W everything! Dang it!
Detroit city with the tigers game on Fri evening was alright. Trip was safe-food was good and the company was the greatest-good family times. Only bad thing was the drive and it seems that a rock took out the AC on the car as we were driving home. It put a hole in the condenser and all the refrigerant leaked out. Hoping the insurance will cover it. I mean, its kinda like a rock against the windshield, no?
I know some ladies are avid fishermen but I definitely want to see a picture of your wife cleaning a shark!! (Just kidding, unless she really has caught/cleaned a shark!)
Morning all. We have a thick covercast and fog this morning. I think the eclipse thing isn't going to be an issue around here. I am off to work this morning for another school year. campinspecter is off to mow Mom's yard before the rain hits. I got to pick a few blackberries last night. Another week and there will be way more than what we can pick. I have noticed that this year every fruit and berry bush has really produced well. I think it was all the rain we got this spring. Mom didn't get any plums on her tree this year though and I think we got too much rain right when it was in blossom.
That looks pretty similar to what I did it weekend. We stayed in the 30' camper up north at the cottage. We spent some good time in and around the camper, as well as on the lake in the pontoon boat.
I picked a bunch up north this weekend as well. They just started coming into season, with a lot left in the bushes. Hopefully they keep going for 2 weeks, as that's when I'll be back up north.
I'm glad you went there. I was about to. That's gotta be a dangerous job. I'd use a machine too if I had to clean sharks.
A good day off today. Weather was great here. Last week we put 285 bales of hay up in the loft. Today we put another 70 or so up there and then about 110 in one ground level bay on top of pallets with a layer of OSB sheeting on top of the pallets. I spent the entire day outside up and down-on and off the tractor, and moving hay. Luckily I had two strong guys helping me with the hay. It didn't take us long. Needless to say I got a hell of a workout throughout the day. So I took a quick shower , and then had three cold beers before dinner. All with my wife and neighbors while the kids swam in their pool and then came home and ate 5 chicken tacos. Too many?
I have a lot of reading/catching up to do around here! September will need to be a reading/catching up month.
