Yeah, $1.99 is still a great deal...just funning with ya. I have had pretty good luck with their Splash brand (the "free" ones) wipers.
Good call on a quality sink...I put in a composite one in '03 (not cheap)...still holding up OK except the white surface is getting scuffed off. Probably go old skool SS next time.
Yeah, I dunno. Probably because you rest on Sunday, mow hay down on Monday and Tuesday, then dry for a few days, bale on Friday and Saturday...then gotta get it in the barn cause it always seemed "rain was coming"
Hay making is completely different these days (at least around here) the equipment is huge, and fast. The farm across the street is 300 acres and they can make the 200 acres of corn into sileage in a few hours (half day?)

Our old one was a cheap 6 guage and lasted a long time so I figured it's worth buying another but better. We went for a 18 guage Koehler that's 9 inch deep. That thing is a beauty!!

I am mixed on the movie Dunkirk. Musical score was pretty awesome. Filmography was good. Air to air combat scenes were good.

Story line was hard to follow at first. Also, I wasn't sure if the lead actors were heros or cowards. I found myself cheering for the pilots, the private boat owner and his kid.

There were some things that were tough for me to suspend reality on as well. I won't say anything about it yet since it would give to much of the story away.

The cinema we went to has recently reduced prices on admission. We only paid 5.50/ person. It was worth it at that price. They used to be over twice that at 12.50/person. I would probably wait for DVD or pay per view at that price. Although, the air to air stuff might change my mind. It was pretty cool on the big screen.

What are you doing with it? What do you use it for?

We had one from 1994-2014 and to my knowledge its still there. No idea on the gauge but it was pretty much off the shelf, many decades use out of it with no need for repairs. Also, I found a VERY expensive italian fired clay or something.... sink for $100 a few years ago for this new home, I do not like it in any way. Too deep, too heavy, and no rim to set any sponges or washrags or other on and practically impossible to repair the faucet lines behind the deep bowls. If and when we replace it, going for a standard SS one.

Wow.... that was a powerful storm....Probably the one of the highest prolonged wind storms that I've been in... it's 2:30 am (been out of power since 10:15). I've got the generator rolling so ice boxes & fans are on... ( now I've just got to get the whole house switch hooked up :D) . I know that my top of chimney cap got blown off (the base of it still looks intact) and I've got shingles stuck up. Daylight will show more.... like I said.... it ought to be interesting...

Edit.... as of 3:45 powers back
Edit.... 4 it went back off...

Yes, they arrived a couple of days ago and have been put to work already relieving our workers. Good on them for helping out.

There is an annual "tractor parade" in early Sept that I tried not to miss,, and there were a couple Krone BigPack big square balers there. I remember thinking "Hay has changed!" As they rolled past (they were the size of a small semi-van trainer!) attached to brand new Fendt tractors. I managed to pick my jaw up off the ground and check them out some more afterwards. Impressive machine's that gobble up huge windrows of dense hay at speeds we only ran transporting over the roads.

I believe they make one that makes a big bale comprised of smaller bales that can be handled by hand. Cut four strings and wan-lah, instant small bales. Pretty neat.

Heat index was 109 yesterday so I decided that I should cut some wood. I was the only one brave/stupid enough to get up in the lift and take down a 16"x60' cherry tree from the top down.

And walla my day long toil looks like majic via the internet! That was an experience and it's all my fault!  She wanted a big deep sink so that's what we got and then I discovered how little room is under there to anchor and work on a BIG sink:picard:

O well it looks and works great!
