Thanks for the well wishes Ray, normal is an overrated word when it comes to healthy eating. I will have some of my favorites things, just not too much of them. A beer (or beers) is one of them. :)

Time to make breakfast for everyone. Day off today and the weather is going to be nice. A little cool this morning at 30°, but it should warm up pretty quick. Suppose to get to about 55° today. I will be out working in the yard by 8am. Lots of clean up to do. Have a good one.

I have found the YouTube training to be so excellent with everything from obscure complex motorcycle repair procedures, playing guitar, complex Photoshop processes and anything else you might think of. I prety much fired my guitar instructor after a certain point. YouTube is your friend.

Next big part of the job. That and some decent fencing. The last really good garden I had, I grew a nice corn crop. The day before it was ready to harvest the racoons attacked in the night and ruined the entire crop.

Can't even read books. They want your full attention. I got picked to be on jury so the courthouse is my place of employment for the next day or two

Good idea. I would like some hands on training from a pro though at some point.

If you can't learn how to do something by watching a YouTube video, you probably have no business doing it anyway. If there is no YouTube video out there, you probably have no business doing it anyway.

I've learned how to do everything from build cabinets, replace the screen on my iPad, butcher a deer, etc on YouTube.

Racoons will fall for marshmallows inside raccoon handcuffs check to be certain this is legal where you are.. You need to start the removal process before the corn gets to harvest time. The critters reach in and grab onto the marshmallows and won't let go then they can't get out of the handcuff.

Dispatch by any legal means available. If you can't do that part of the job then don't attempt using the handcuff as relocation is likely both illegal and useless. They will return over pretty decent distances to get back on home turf.

I'll look into this. The trapping laws in Massachusetts are quite restrictive, ...but, fences don't seem to work to well either with some of these critters. I know guns work, but my neighbors might not a fan of that solution.
