Know what the other "equivalent" sizes are?
    4mm will cross with 5/32"
    8mm will cross with 5/16"
    11mm will cross with 7/16"
    14mm will cross with 9/16"
    19mm will cross with 3/4"
...there are others too, but they are less commonly used sizes.
And some are closer to the exact same size than others...but generally either will work on the other

Even my reading glasses are like this - all 6 pairs in my small house tend to disappear when I need them. They all seem to have a herding instinct - when I finally find 1 pair, I find them all.

Laying floor tile in the mud room tonight. Hoping to get all the whole pieces down today, cut and lay the partials tomorrow, and grout on Saturday.

I predict jello legs for tomorrow from the umpteen thousand squats I'm going to have to do.

Doing that by yourself is tedious. By the time the partials are done, why not just grout the whole pieces and then finish by grouting the partials. Saturday can be for something else.
Partials are usually around the perimeter anyway. They'll set just fine.

I thought about that, but I'm using epoxy grout and that stuff can get away from you pretty quick. I don't want to have too much going on and have it set on me before I can get the excess/haze cleaned off. I've only done it one other time so I need to take my time and stay focused on one thing at a time. The tile is laid on a diagonal so cutting the partials takes a while.

That was a thought, that maybe there were a lot of cuts or something.
    Never used epoxy grout.......interesting.

If you have have to cut diagonal tile, watch this video. Even if you don't, it's pretty a pretty slick trick.

After having epoxy grout I wouldn't go back to cement based grout.

Nice, but a little time consuming. I can see situations where that would be very useful though.
Not sure I'd mess with that little jog, since once the new toe kick goes on, you'd never see it.
So, do you find the epoxy grout easy to clean up? How much time do you have before it sets up? How big an area can you do before needing to start "sponging". Regular grout allows lots of "play time".
    Sorry so many questions.

Actually, it goes MUCH faster with the jig than measuring. I wouldn't have bothered with that jog either....I think it was just for illustration purposes. Cutting a diagonal tile that goes around a corner is no fun.

With epoxy grout I don't like to let it sit for more than a couple minutes before cleaning up the bulk of it off the tile and smoothing the lines. Cleanup is harder than regular grout.

The garage walls are paneled with OSB and the joints are sealed! Next, continue priming and then onto painting.
After that, I have two windows and two doors to trim out. Hope to have it done by the 6th. HOPE!
