    Getting our first real rain in about 3 weeks today. The garden needs rain, but I was enjoying not having to mow every 3 days.

    Skeeter production seems to have gone back into full swing around here after our frequent rains. Then of course, there's the weed mowing thing too.:)

    Skeeters are darn near nonexistent here, which is weird for this time of year. I'm pretty sure all the gnats ate them all.

    Yep, our hatch started here last week. Hopefully we will get sprayed by the plane mid July (depends on donations). Till then I do the perimeter of where we go in back yard, door ways with permetherine, and reek like deet. I'm a poet and didn't know it.

    The roses are in full bloom. There is only one bloom cycle on this variety, so we have about two weeks to enjoy them. We'll open the windows tomorrow or sit on the porch after the heat breaks.

    Down a belt notch. Yay for me. I was starting to think I'd have to owb carry forever or buy new pants. Summer outside work has a very few benefits. Losing weight is 1.

    Morning all. Yesterday was a dentist trip down island. We have a new convert. Mom was in the back seat spotting wood piles as we were traveling.

    We are in for a couple of days of rain so no wood cutting. Great news is I have 3 1/2 weeks left of work until summer holidays :thumbs:

    Hot and humid here. The PGA us open is going on a few miles away at Erin Hills.

    It's going to storm as well.

    AC going, and later when it cools off at night I'll get back to working on my motorcycle.

    I have a dentist appt tomorrow for some new fillings, :hair:. Wish me luck please on my mental state as I get a bit squirrly with the sound of a dental drill. Cut, clean, whatever my teeth need done, but the sound of the drill, ummm....
